I relate to your tooth pain misfortunes SO.MUCH. Emma! I went through soothing simular with TWO different teeth, excruciating pain, ended up accidentally overdosing on painkillers, because I'd go to sleep, wake up after an hour from the pain, take a painkiller, go to sleep, wake up after an hour, repeat. Spent 16h in the hospital on a drip, to detox... fun times. Managed to get them extracted. Then a few months later a wisdom tooth filling got chipped and started getting infected....cue medication and infections on and on... My NHS dentist told me I'll need surgical extraction bc the tooth is too close to a nerve and I could risk nerve damage with a regular extraction. She then put me on a waiting list for an NHS dental surgeon. 2 YEARS LATER I had enough of the constant infections and having terrible rotten breath, not being able to kiss my bf properly... Went to a private dentist - got quoted £450 for it, plus £50 for the check up. Ended up getting it out without surgery. This whole time, my dentist could've saved me years of pain and suffering by simply getting it out. The private dentist told me he could do the surgery, if I did end up needing it, that's covered in the price....bit also that most wisdom teeth extractions are close to nerves anyway, so there's always a risk 🙃🙃🙃 Having teeth problems is the absolute worst and this country's dental services are a circus. Glad you're better, hopefully you'll never go through that again!!🤞
be kind to yourself Emma, this video was great! it is so important to take the time to heal when you need it and you do not have to apologize for it. sounds like you were in incredible pain! Glad to see you are well and big congratulations on the Nike campaign !!!!
Really liked this vlog 😊 ✨Went through the wisdom tooth pain and extraction earlier this year, horrible, but hope you’ll recover properly soon, it takes a while 🌻 Strange so much comes from such a tiny thing! Onwards to future clouds ☁️
Emma, don't feel bad about your panic attacks. When my daughter had hers out, they knocked her out. She went out crying and woke up crying. In the U.S. they just take out all of them at once. I agree with you, they should have taken them all out. I was 31 when I had mine removed, one of them had a corner chip off. It cut the crap out of the inside of my cheek. I'm so glad your doing better. Love you and Rob.
Oh Emma I feel for you! I had my wisdom tooth out and it was awful! I had a reaction to the pain meds they gave to me, so I was ill on top. Glad you’re feeling better!
babe if they take the rest of them out just get them to put you under. i had all 4 of mine out and it was easy peasy. i looked ridiculous but i was so happy to get them out x
I remember getting a tooth abcess about two years ago. It was horrendous. Never had pain like that. Tooth pain really is next level. Glad to see you back
Emma if you're still in pain with your teeth or in the future, whenever you're struggling try to chew cloves or make yourself a little jar of coconut oil with cloves essential oil diluted for you to wash your teeth. Everyday make also a mouth wash with hydrogen peroxide 3% . It's very effective. I hope your better now 😊
Welcome back, Emma. Happy to hear you’re feeling better ❤ I saw your going to the Philippines soon. If you ever need some tips on where to go I’m currently out here 😊
I sympathise with you so much em. Last year I had the worst tooth ache of my life and having been through labour and 2 c sections I can honestly say the tooth ache was worse. I was in a&e on morphine at one point and felt literally like I might overdose. Felt such relief to have the tooth removed 😅and so pleased you did too !!
So happy for you finally getting that tooth removed , I had 2 impacted Wisdom teeth , I know the pain you had to go through, its horrible. So happy you are feeling much better.
Girl, is also good to share the bad and the ugly, if you feel like it… is important show followers that is not all rainbows and sunsets, also downsides… on the good side, child birth is much easier! True! I had major tooth aches! Labour is a walk in a park😊 Hope March is all good
As far as I am concerned wisdom teeth don't increase in size when you are an adult, they just emerge through the gum. I can also tell you that different people have different amount of roots, mostly 2. I had one tooth that had 4 and the dentist laughed it's like a bear's. And I was told multiple times that oral care is fucked up in the UK and bloody expensive. I don't earn much and still I payed for removal of 4 wisdom teeth from my pocket in Poland, where we have much lower standard of live and incomes than other European countries.
I could never get a tooth pulled in the chair for the same reason you had! I would have a panic attack at the thought of what was happening. I would just pay for it myself and go private get them all done in surgery one time. It's whats credit cards are for! Glad your on the mend missed your vlogs
Yay! She’s back!❤ my wisdom teeth are just starting to come through and I have everything crossed that they behave😅😂 I love your glasses, where are they from?
Toothache is the worst and the word does not do it justice! I had spinal surgery and ended up with a full length crack in one of my teeth because of it. I had to have a root canal whilst one of my wisdom teeth where also moving. To say I was a crabby patty is an understatement 🙈🙈 I'm glad you are feeling better!
Had a few days to percolate on this, dental stuff is so horrofying. As someone who no longer has any wisdom teeth in my head lol. Perhaps next time can get them to put you out under a general. I had oral surgery under general in the hospital because it was impacted but also hadn't emerged so some...invasive type actions needed to occur :-( and while the recovery was long in terms of the stitches and swelling from the actual surgery- the general was ok and I was out by the afternoon with no adverse effects like panic. I did wake up in an inflatable, warming blanket and when I asked the nurse wtf was going on (I'm ALWAYS hot so I was abit perplexed) she said I'd woken up crying that I was so cold 10 minutes ago. Had zero memory of it, lol. Anyway, good luck! Poor love, hope you're fully recovered now
Welcome back Emma ❤ Glad you are feeling better! And can I just say that it pisses me off that people write angry messages when you dont post vlogs, like??? Get a grip folks, people do need to take time off for different reasons, be it being sick or not feeling well or just a reason that isnt anyone's business. Making someone feel guilty about taking time off when they need it? Not cool!
Tooth pain is horrific. I'm sorry, I'm lucky that my teeth are great, I had my wisdom teeth removed at 16, they were all impacted. I can still remember the experience and I'm 57. How does dental care work in the UK? Is it all private? I've noticed that a lot of Brits have really bad teeth.
@@lostincube752 Seriously? I've watched TONS of A and E tv shows and I've noticed it. I've been to the UK numerous times and I've noticed it. That is NOT a racist comment.
Previously most of the dental practices in the UK was NHS treatment meaning a lot more people was able to afford the treatment that they need and meaning people who receive benefits would also receive free treatment to help them out, where as now due to the Tory government dental practices have stopped receiving enough funding to see patients on the NHS and to only start offering private dental treatment meaning a LOT less people can afford, and with you saying you’ve noticed they have bad teeth, it’s not so much the teeth are actually bad it’s just the apparent of them as Brits arnt as bothered about appearance compared to americans 😁
