Hi ! Nice conversion I like it very much ! I am a newbie and i would like to know how to you make the hinge between the control surfaces and the model ? Is it like a door hinge or something more complex ? thank you
Hi, for the elevator and rudder i use somthing like this: www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-Nylon-Plane-Hinge-for-RC-Airplane-RC-Airplane-Plane-Parts-Replacement-HC/332406447381?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D41376%26meid%3D85025370866841f99a0393b81c61f7c0%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D322416055941&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 and for the for the allerons i used an wire as axis hope it helps.
I think you did a great job building this kit. I have always wanted the Zero. There ia so much conversion info on the net. Where do you recommend I can go to as a beginner.
I watched others who they did the conversion, but came up with everything in the process of building :), always thinking ahead. First build your kit and then see what will you need for the conversion the motor size, esc and servos. :)
I used sand paper with my hand on a square balsa wood. You wrap the sand paper around the wood to sand down only 2 corners. You can get to the shape you want very fast. Careful like this you will have a round edge and you need it to shape the edge to the wing. I advice you to do the sanding when the leading edge square wood is glued in place and you have the hole wing all together. It is easier to sand down to shape when you see it in it's my place
You have done a good practical installation, well done.
Great conversion. I am starting mine soon. Cheers
Thanks soon i will finish mine but i'm think i will need a bigger motor
hiya mate, absolutely brilliant job, im currently working on a piper cub myself and im thinking of converting it.

Hey. I was wondering about the process you did with the leading edge in the wing. I can’t seem to get it curve well. Any advice?

One more thing. How did you build the bottom of the fuselage so that the wing would be screwed on?
@@jackylin6811 this weekend I'm gonna make a short video for that then
Thank you.
forgot to do it but wil do soon :) sorry
