@@fernandor6260 yeah but it's not like Stingray Affliction kind of heavy or aggressive. It's more of a groove fueled song. Don't get me wrong so was Stingray Affl., but you can feel a lot more of a groove in this song than aggression.
Love this song . It's really catchy and aj just keeps impressing me every album he does with issues. I can hear and see on how much he has progressed as a guitar player. You really saw his progress in headspace with writing some pretty catchy bluesy riffs and now on this album he's totally went funky on us and I love it. It sounds really good imo. And I will say forsure that issues is definitely expirmenting with their sound now that Micheal is no longer in the band. There are definitely some songs on hear that I feel like Micheal wouldn't like and would have not made the album. So far with the exception of a couple that just don't really speak to me this album is pretty solid 👌.

I've just realized that the phrase "If I have a parade I know you'll be there" Is a reference to "Rain on my parade" but instead of just using that as the lyrics (e.g. BMTH, Pierce the Veil), they've packed it in a subtle and clever way. Nice
Some how this became my fav song on this album..my wife kids tired of hearing it but fukem ....after I had to miss they convert cuss my kids was I a play for skool 2 weeks ago they lucky I still feed them .lol
Imagine liking Issues for the screaming, and not the groove they've always had, which is what made this band special, and being mad about it. A lot of songs were great with Michael, but even all the way back during the days of Self Titled, sometimes I would think "man this song would be better without his screaming" not always, but sometimes. Headspace definitely would've been better without Michael's clean singing though.
Josh Martin agreed. They perfectly mix r&b and metal, they have a one of a kind sound. Idk why people are so upset that they didn't stay a generic metal core bang.
New album is catchy, Tyler’s vocals are just as good as ever, but really missing the extra layer to the music that Micheal brought. I knew straight away Tapping Out would be the only song with screams as it was the lead single, it was only there to hype up the album.
Yeah right, Michael's screams were already awkward as hell on most of Headspace, and he didn't write any of them. He had no say in the songwriting and brought nothing to the table, and from the beginning was nothing but a b-tier warped tour scenecore screamer. The rest of these guys are leagues above him as far as talent and skill is concerned. They made the right choice and it shows. Not to mention SYWH dudes predicted around 5 or so years ago that they were gonna ditch Michael cause he really didn't add anything. If you want a generic metalcore band there are billions. Go listen to I prevail or any other lame sing/scream hottopiccore band. Issues is not for being heavy, always has been for being progressive, experimental, and transgressive. If you wanna hear Michael scream (something even he doesn't wanna do any more) go back and listen to Woe, Is Me. Issues are killing the game as they have been since 2012 and literally no one can touch what they're doing.
Damn. He did really good in this album vocally holy shit. Now if only they had a screamer to mix things up give it a little diversity, this album would be a fucking hit 😤
Agreed. It was a major blow when Tyler fell off. I gotta say, it was kind of written on the walls, though. You can't go from a balls-deep in spiritual warfare album like Numbers (or one that can be mistaken as such) straight into wearing a dress. The devil don't work that way. If you are gonna 180 like that, you gotta sin a lot harder than I imagine TC or JC ever bargained for. He comes to collect one way or another. He don't break kneecaps (per-se), but he will steal careers and well-beings, and we are all out another great singer/band combination because of it.
Best song on the entire album.... this is legit the formula they should followed if they were going to kick Michael. Definitely could have backed up this type of sound and song structure but everything else on the album besides the song beautiful oblivion and drink about it is shite.... maybe next album if there even is one
Imagine A. Commenting twice on a song you supposedly think is trash, and B. Thinking just because a song is/could be on the radio makes it bad and still feeling your opinion is actually relevant.
That's why it's so great imo. Metal band successfully went pop and it still sounds good. Just because it's accessible does not mean it's bad at all. They still maintain they're musicianship and it's just as groovy as ever.
