- This was a cool little test run for a kind of series I want to do in the future, I got Ringo Ame and Benny some ribbons that may not seem like much, but should be awesome in the future! I hope you enjoyed :)
Youre right, everyone likes to go back to the earliest possible games to get all the ribbons, but i have much more motivation to do something simple like this
And hey, having this start it will just snowball in future games (if gamefreak doesn’t cut them from the Pokédex). And eventually they will look just as crazy as an “older” Pokémon
I just evolved my Shiny Duraladon without doing this xd

I actually did this with my Hisuian Zorua. I caught a female, shiny one and nicknamed her Akari, with the OT tag, Akari. As well as bestowed upon her the title 'Akari of the ancient past'. It took several days of massive mass outbreaks to find one shiny Zorua, much less a female one. And funnily enough, I ended up finding a shiny female Zoroark before a Zorua. As for why I did this, blame the fandom for introducing the idea of PLA's protag turning into a Zorua. And yes, I am playing the indigo disk with a lvl 100 Zorua.
Love to see more Switch ribbon collectors on RUclips! To be clear: any Pokémon can become a “full” or “real” Ribbon Master. The term Ribbon Master just means a Pokemon that has gathered every ribbon it can starting in whatever game it was caught in. So a Gen 8 or 9 Pokémon that gets all the Switch ribbons they can would still be a valid RM!
I just hope missing out on the curry mark doesn’t mean that Ringo Ame is a poser 🥲
@@gareyysenpaaiii No worries, you’re good! It’s all ribbons/marks after being caught. Since Ringo Ame wasn’t caught with the Curry Mark and can’t retroactively earn it, he doesn’t need it to be a Ribbon Master. He will eventually need stuff like the Itemfinder Mark, Gourmand Mark, and Master Rank Ribbon and such though.
I sort of do the same thing with an Absol I've had since gen 6. She was a big part of my team, and with her being my favorite Pokemon, I want her to have the champion ribbon of every game I can bring her into. I would love to give her the Paldea marks and ribbon, but sadly I can't. Maybe in the future she'll obtain them
Yea, I somehow have Pokémon from my Pokémon XD when I was like 7 years old, they have the national ribbon which is sick. But if got more on them it would have been so cool 😭
it sounds like a good idea until future generations don't include Duraludon & Hydrapple and you miss a bunch of ribbons :'(
I recently started aiming to get my gen 3 Hitmonchan all the league ribbons of each generation.
sadly unova doesn't have ribbons, so lets hope they do if we get remakes 👀
Yea, it would definitely be lame if they aren't available in future games. But even then, they would still be considered " full ribbon masters" because they had all earnable ribbons in the games they are available in. But all we can do is hope all Pokémon are available in future games 😅
Beaming is a perfect title considering Archaludon is a literal electric/particle beam gun lol
I did this with a Duraludon and an Alcremie that I wanted to use for the battles of the DLC. Just having the titles come out is a nice touch
I caught a shiny applin in preparation for the DLCs and did this when dipplin was revealed :)
Now I'm planning to do this with a Curry Mark Applin
Oh no, are Applin and Duraludon some of the Pokémon that can do the curry glitch? If so I’m going to be forever staring where that curry mark is supposed to be 🥲

@@gareyysenpaaiii oh no haha Curry Mark Applin is very much intentional, you can get them as a Curry encounter on Galar Route 5. Duraludon unfortunately can't do the glitch nor appear from curry
Its interesting to me that you can send pokemon caught in gen 9 games to the gen 8 games. It has not been possible to send a pokemon caught in a later gen game to a previous generation since Gold and Silver allowed you to send pokemon to Red and Blue using the time machine.
The thing is. Even if Nintendo eventually adds the pokemon games to the Switch online Gameboy/Advanced systems there is no gurantee that they would be connectable to pokemon home. Wish they do add the games to online eventually and have home compatibility tho.
Oh I have a image with all the pokemons that can get ribbons in every game on the switch… most of them are limit by the PLA pokedex cuz there is one ribbon there
I did this with a shiny Sylveon, hatched an Eevee and sent him to Brilliant Diamond to get all of the ribbons and then evolved him afterwards. Part of me considered waiting for a Gen 5 remake before evolving him but Gen 5 didn’t have any ribbons so I think that he’s safe
Yeah, until they exclude those Pokémon from the next few games and you’re just unable to use them as they take up a Home space.
you should see some of my friends pokemon with ribbons. but yeah who would have thought back than we would get titles for this ribbons.
The Tower Master Ribbon was difficult so I didn’t go for it.

I exsacly did this with my uncommon marked level ball shiny scither from paldea.I treansfer him to sinnoh ,defeated cyntia,bought him ribbons and trained him for contests,also in galar and then i evolved him into kleavor.Tho scizor might be stronger this makes kleavor more unique :)
now that I'm super back into pokemon I've decided to do this with few of my favorites :) but the big one is getting a perfect Infernape now that sizes have been introduced. Gonna take a teensy one all the way back to BDSP, and Legends Arceus and get every ribbon avaliable on it.
Question, do i really need to worry about EVs/IVs to win the game or can i just play casually (that also means strategies) with lv 100 pokemon.
I also kinda wish i went for the applin outbreak i had because i could have been hunting for 3 shines. But maybe thats because it was in the tagtree thicket that i decided not to
Like just the story mode? Yes, you can easily burst through with lv 100 pokemon. I had 4 lv 100 pokemon and used the 2 last slots to lv up and evolve pokemon for the pokedex
Yea the Ev's/ IV's are more so a completionist thing from me. its how you get the best stats so I just enjoy doing it.
I think it could be interestin to do a list of all pokemon ribbon masterisable with only a switch and S&S + S/V.
I have something like that planned, but kinda different. Need to do a few other videos before that. But it’s definitely in the works! 😊

Hello my senpii, I was wondering if the dlc is worth purchasing? My cousin and friend seem to really enjoy it but I wanted to get your honest opinion 💁🏼♂️
It’s definitely a little short, and the legendaries being shiny locked is pretty lame. But if you enjoyed the base game then it’s definitely worth it.
There's a movie called Ringo? For a second I thought you were talking about the movie Rango, but maybe not since they are spelled and pronounced differently.
I have terrible memory, I already had it in the script/ recordings... So im just going to live in my own Mandela effect world lol.

I like shinies and getting the right ball and whatnot... but marks are so dumb in my opinion. I just think Hydrapple the whatever sounds so cringe. But, to each their own.
Some of them are fun but I don't disagree, like I wish my mew from the SV mystery gift event wasn't named "mew the pokemon fan" 🙈🤷🏻♀️ I hate it and cringe everytime I use it and I love my mew so much so I do use it alot. But there are ribbons with way better names. Why gamefreak named it that bothers me so much 🤪😅 imo of course.
@@haleyleal23 Yeah, I completely agree. I just don't like "the blank", I do like the idea of having ribbons and marks that display what achievements your mon has done, especially if you bring your mon from every game it's ever been in and it has achieved everything possible. That sort of thing is so cool.
If there was an option to remove the lame flavour text when summoning them in battle, I'd be completely fine with the marks system entirely.
@@Amadeus_ totally agree! That'd be nice if it was a feature we could turn on or off.
@@Amadeus_ The titles can be removed if you want. Just go to the ribbon/mark page on the Pokemon’s summary screen, highlight whichever one is currently active, and click the A button on it. That should deactivate the battle title while still having the ribbon/mark on their summary screen.
