I got hooked on Dayseeker because of how they did so many acoustic versions for What It Means To Be Defeated, then found stuff like Home on Hold, and I got to meet them all at this tiny venue in Virginia and they seemed genuinely amazed that I loved their music so much.
Man, I keep coming back to listen to this, it just sounds like the truth to me. No tuning, not backing tracks, just a young man and a guitar pooring it all out onto the lucky crowd. I can't wait to catch you on tour again. I hope you'll do a full acoustic tour and hit the Machine Shop again in 24
This has got to be one of the most beautiful moments in blueridge history. I really wish this was the year I went instead of 2021's blueridge. I would've loved to sit through every moment while Rory is on the stage alone singing these emotionally impactful songs live 😔
Anybody know why he did an acoustic set? So apparently their computer overheated and that's why the world got this amazing performance from Rory. You know everything happens for a reason and I needed this in my life.
looks to me like E flat standard. if u look at without me, his capo is on the first fret but hes playing the song in A, which would be played without one if it was in E standard.
