I managed to grab the v3 for $70 without the dongle, so I’ll take it as fantastic for that price, and mildly competitive for the original price. Excited to try it out!
@@Techgnome21 love it! Feels great in the hand. The clicks are really light, but you get used to it. The grip texture is really good, but the sacrifice there is fingerprint magnet. The occasional wipe with ur shirt and u won’t even notice!
Great comparison! I have both and it's hard to decide. I switch between palm and relaxed claw grips, and the Thorn support my palm more. I also like that the Thorn's tilt is not as steep as the Xlite V3, and the button height are the same.
great video. i finally narrowed it down to these 2, leaning towards the Lamzu. I have 3 questions. is there any new contender that has released since? if money wasn't an issue, is there any other mice worth mentioning? what size of the supergrip would you recommend for the Lamzu? they come in small, medium, large for whatever reason.

I'm currently using the Pulsar X2V2. However, I'm having the Xlite V3 Medium, Lamzu Thorn 4K and Lamzu Atlantis OG V2 4K on the way to try out and see which one I like best. Great review there! Btw. what game is it that you show in the gameplay scenes? That looks like a lot of fun!
The slam clicking on my Pulsar is crazy bad, I thought that's my issue only (800dpi 0.75 sens in game CS). Thanks for confirming it's a general issue. On the other hand, my unit has no flicking tbh.
Which one do you prefer? I have large hands/fingers palm grip. Love the design of the V3 but had a rly bad experience on my V2. Idk if I should switch to Thorn

After 6 months of use on the Lamzu Thorn and before that owning both med/mini version of xlite v2 (havent made the jump for v3 or 4k), I personally like the Xilte v2. Its interesting that you get the side wobbles on pulsar. I personally find myself doing that on my Thorn every so often and occasionally right clicking on accident. Also, the relaxed claw grip you mention around 8:45 I can't seem to find myself doing that on my Thorn but able to do it on my Pulsar mice. I personally dont like grips as I feel it changes the shape BUT with them on I was able to move it more in my fingertips alot better on my Thorn. The medium pulsar xlite v3, is it 100% ergonomic? It is my doubt, since in years I have had several mice from other brands that in the end I do not feel any ergonomics and I want to risk buying the pulse, thank you and never again Razer or Logitech
@@Curree8 Unfortunately I am not playing shooter for the reason that I use a Logitech G502 Lightspeed, since my hand is medium and after long hours of playing I feel discomfort in my fingers and palm, I have an arm and palm with an intermediate sensibility in games. ive seen some reviews say the fnatic thorn has a better coating, that being said im not a huge fan of it.... you save a little money buying that one anyways if youre wanting to use the 4k polling rate being that its only like 4 dollars more than the standard thorn and the 4k dongle is included
How is the scroll click on those two units? I experienced that the Xlite v3 required like twice the force to click than Thorn (or any other mice I had). You have the same on yours?
I have both on hand and still can’t decide! They’re so close but the Thorn is cheaper and comes with spare feet and other goodies. I think I’ll switch between the 2 and decide before the amazon return period runs out lol. Great video, making me leans towards the Thorn now.
I thought the same but after I got the v3 mini I could tell that there was a slight change to the shape and it feels much better for my relaxed claw grip
I hope these optical mouse switches goes the way of laser sensors. They sound so hollow and aren't nearly satisfying to click as a high quality mechanical switch. One of the main reasons why I'm going either Vaxee or Endgame gear for my next mouse.
The review is alittle misleading. I know it comes down to personal preference but how can the thorn win, if the pulsars faults are negligible. Also you can save money and not buy pulsars 4k dongle, or you could buy the es model which includes the 4k dongle.
