    It would probably be beneficial to add a few steps and handles separated by smaller angles, so that it’s easier to apply forces shifted away from the center of mass.

      It looks hard enough to move inside without hitting your head already, adding more bars would probably make it so there isn't enough space for a person. Maybe if it was bigger

    Only downside seems that while turning, it leans on a point, which can damage the floor or get stuck.

      I think if the end were to curve in a bit then it wouldn't hit the floor. I think it would still work

    this is more entertaining than seeing a "professional" do it, cause they would make it look effortless, and one wouldnt appreciate how much effort actually goes into steering the apparatus.

      @@henryseg I feel a little disappointed. They didn't show off essentially any of what makes the tao line unique, it's just people using it like a see saw. Do you have a video of it being taken through the full range of motion?

    Alright hear me out. If you for example start learning how to play an instrument. You're really slow, not sure where everything is etc. but after years of training your super fast. Imagine how it would look like if someone trains to use this thing and just zooms through a city xD

    Interesting, bit I'm sure it could be more spherical, and effectively lose the corners (which seem to be a bit of a problem if the centre of mass isn't quite right), while still having lane-changing properties. It probably wouldn't be such an interesting shape from certain angles though.

    What if there would be a type of "chair " in the middle?
    It fixes you only on your hip.
    Like these security "strap on's" for climbing.
    And it's needed to bee twistable.
    Or maybe it work's with a type of bar from left to right in the middle to sit on it.
    With a little bow downward to sit in your weight...
    So, maybe it work's a bit like cycling...
    If you drive left or right it will twist your angle...

    i know exactly what would happen if i tried to stand in it and move
    i would put my foot down and then a very loud "clunk" would be heard and i would abruptly fall forward....
    i would probably fall quite violently as well, knowing my luck.
