At the risk of redundancy, I will repeat over and over, that Billy Strings is the baddest guitar player around today. He absolutely embodies the spirit of bluegrass, blues, country and rock n roll, all in one good young human being.
He is the anointed one. He will keep the music going for decades hopefully. The best there is, and when it’s all done, maybe the best ever.

I am so amazed by the wide range of music that Billy Strings does so well. I am 71 years old and know a lot of the older songs he plays and I am speechless. He must be a perfectionist. I could listen all night. So young to be so good.

My favorite LZ song by far. When I first heard it I was 16 and it gave me chills. I'm 63 now and it still delivers those chills! And Billy puts just the right touch of "Southern Charm" on it...nice!

@@FlatEarthFighter I think a big factor is how timeless real country music and bluegrass is. Not to mention how talented of a musician he is. People like him last longer than any of these fads fading in and out.
I grew up with lukewarm feelings about Plant’s vocals and LZ in general until I heard a good tribute band (Physical Graffiti out of CT) perform Kashmir through a full tilt arena PA - Moog synths and everything- and in the face of that glorious onslaught I “got it”. And how! Billy sure knows how to work a Les Paul - one can imagine the sh*t eating grins at the end of that performance! I sure can 🤪
His solos here sound more Allman Bros than Jimmy Page.
He’s good on guitar but that guy is a real wizard on bass!

I was lucky enough to see Billy and his band in a small venue called The Burley Oak in Berlin Maryland on a Friday, then at Peach on Saturday.
He played electric with Pigeons, amazing.
As a guitarist that I know said the first time he ever saw Billy,
He shouldn’t be able to do that.
We’ve seen him quite a few times, and every single time, he just drops jaws.

Most people will not realize how good this really is. Covering Led Zeppelin while dropping Allman Brothers licks while dressed as a Hobbit is almost trolling.
His guitar playing is unbelievable but he doesn't seem to get much credit for that voice. Not many can pull off a Robert Plant vocal with that much gusto and confidence.

Asheville won Halloween this year hands down ... people will rave about about and listen view and listen this concert for a long long time..... Billy is the epitome young exxeptionally skilled musician artist just arriving at his peak power. Also someone send a link to Robert Plant Jimmy Page and John Paul J. How could they not love this... Respectfully
I went to their 10/31/2021 Halloween night show in Asheville. It was INCREDIBLE!!

I was once walking down Bloor street in Toronto on a busy summer Saturday night and a guy came sailing down the middle of the street on a skateboard, weaving through the gridlocked cars, playing Ramble On on an acoustic guitar. Life doesn't get much better than little moments like that.
So good. So much soul it'll bring a tear to your eye. I don't care how old you are or where you're from. When it's the real deal you can feel it.

I'm a lifelong Hendrix, Schenker, Van Halen, Satriani, Vaughn fan -- and Billy Strings was already in that list of names 3 years ago. He is - in my opinion - the best guitarist alive , and one of the best who ever lived. Just my humble opinion.
Best? Emotionally? Technically? Musically( I.e. theory) Feel?Knowledge of the instrument? Speed? So many levels…just enjoy the music don’t try to rate the player.😊

It Takes many a years to master, im about a year into learning bluegrass, been playing blues,rock, and pop for almost 20 years,and i am nowhere near Billys level when it Comes to bluegrass 🙏🏾

Billy’s talent and style remind me so much of Stevie Ray Vaughan when he was just getting big. Absolutely the epitome of greatness in this guy. I will never tire listening to Billy or SRV simply because it’s almost like they share the same soul. Definitely have a new fan with me Billy.

Dont take that wrong. Billy hell of a talent and one of my favs at moment. Band is fabulous. But covering a classic like this with your own twist by a group this good not shocking it's so good. Billy seems born for this. Sure raised for it. The show with his dad top of my list curently!

This was done real well. First time l heard Billy on a Paul, wasn't disappointed.
Billy Strings on an electric guitar is like Mike Tyson taking a baseball bat to a fist fight. Nobody attacks an acoustic guitar like he does. He forces it to sound like an electric against its will at times. Seeing him unchained on an elctric is incredible. What a great performance. Amazing artist! I love the bluegrass stuff he does but it's cool to see him blast off on some Zeppelin.
Who cares if Robert Plant fled LZ when you got Billy Strings? Awesome.

This young man came along just in time for me. Was a phish head forever and this guy has brought the youthful energy and ripping lightning fast riffs back into my life. He came along at the perfect time for me and you can take that however you like!
