Rent room ka pata nahi, but hotels mushkil hoga milna. If you are going to do govt. job there, then you will be staying for a long duration. So in this case it's better to contact your organisation and ask them to arrange something for you initially (for a few days) and then later as per requirement you can get a monthly rented room there in the locality or settle temporarily as per their guidance. So imagine if there is no restriction and suddenly on some holiday seasons various people from several parts of India just arrive there without any restriction, then tell what will be the situation? And that time we (Indian public) will blame whom? Of course we will curse our government only for not managing things properly. So that's why certain areas like Lakshwadeep, Leh, Laddhak, Baratang island, certain parts of Arunachal Pradesh, etc. Have restrictions for tourists even if they are Indians. Only certain water activities and additional sightseeing in certain islands are not included in the package, and you can go for it at an additional cost (optional).
