Really appreciate your videos. I'm thinking of getting the Wolf King GT here in Vic as well, and was wondering what your thoughts were on using the stock off-road tyres on the street? I see in this video that you're using some cycling paths...what's the noise/vibration like, and is there any downside to just keeping the stock tyres on? Having a really tough time finding AU dealers who do the puncture resistant tyres for street use as dealers in North America do. I'm happy enough to stick with off-roads, but most of my riding will actually be on-road. Would really appreciate what your take is on that.
Thanks, I actually like having the off road tyres when riding on paths and roads just in case I need to cross over some grass or slippery terrain and the off road tyre noise sounds awesome. Having the puncture proof tyres is a big bonus as well so unless you can source some puncture proof street tyres and know you won't go on any off road, even grass, then I would just stick with the stock off roads.
It’s even more comical when you do that to a car on the main road at 80+kmh. Well I’ve never personally taken my foot off the scooter at that speed. Too busy holding on for dear life and paying attention to the road.
I haven't done a range test myself but I've seen others get around 90km driving fast, so slower cruising will be more range. To be honest I think my legs would give out before the battery will.
@@flyingman33 i see, i just bought the apollo ghost a few months ago and im thinking of upgrading to the king gt, have you have any issues or concerns so far?
@@jaysonsherry5233 the only upgrade I did was to swap out the rear suspension bush as the stock one didn't suit my weight and ride style, apart from that the Wolf King GT is amazing and has given me no problems.
My brother great video of flying free! Could u pls help with the gt controller settings pls? Been looking everywhere for the smack down but hard tongue any good info. How do I get mine to reach Max speed? Ans what are the speed magnet settings? Mine only goes to 58km an hour Are u meant to have the speed limiter down to low or up to > 100%? I'm so use to the old controller on the wolf king which feels so much faster and exilerating , sharp fast and abrupt compared to this , smooth boring crap on the gt. 0 to 50 feels fast but then after that it's got massive dead zone ans boring .
Thanks, check out my latest video of my top speed test where I show my settings in each gear. Magnet setting has to do with speed read out and not to do with scooter performance. I left my magnet setting stock which is 30 I believe. If your getting 58kmh max make sure your in gear 5 and dual motor, you can see in my video I get to 60kmh in about 3-4 seconds.
@@flyingman33 thanks for ur reply mate, I shortly found the video u refered after writing the first comment. Yep I'm in gear 5 and same settings as u have stated. Only goes more than 58km down hills like there just not enuf torque past 58km on a normal road. Down hill I got 74km but took over 400m. Might have to wait for a shop to retune it and get it back to how it shud be. My work king hits 98km no dramas no matter what road as I'm.only 75kg
forgive me if im wrong but judging from your shadow it looked like you may have been wearing a helmet that doesn't protect your face, if so i highly recommend getting a legit motorcycle riding helmet to protect your face. ive had a 20mph crash onto grass with no helmet and i ate dirt, got a black eye and scratched up my face, and thankfully it wasnt on concrete or asphalt because if it was im almost certain i would have knocked out several front teeth. that was when i first got into scooters and was riding a scooter with a top speed of only 27mph, now that i have the GT i dont mess around with my safety and i wear a full motorcycle riding outfit. it may look a little funny, but i care more about my health than vanity haha. if i were to crash on the highway at 60mph with no protective gear, death is a real possibility and of course massive lifechanging road rash scars at the very least would be a certainty. at that speed you'd honestly probably rip down to the bone. sorry to be the safety sally haha, anyways nice video and those look like some pretty cool riding trails.
Thanks for your comment and I totally agree and had a full face helmet on order but took a month to receive it, I have it now and wear it everytime I ride.
Cool ride. Wish we had trails like that in my area.
Ordered mine yesterday I’ve never been so excited over a damn scooter

I like to pretend I'm pushing my scooter like a normal kick scooter and pass people on their bikes . The reaction is comical .

Have you had to change these off road tires yet lol riding them on the road wears them down FAST
Not yet but the front is due for a change, I'll be going to slicks next cause I don't do much off road riding
