as a die-hard car driver I just want to say that I`m truly blown away by how useful these things are and how many pro`s they have as a means of transportation :O (btw I`m talking about e-scooters in general not just about the Wolf King). If you are someone who drives car a lot and/or uses taxis to get around you can make up for the money you spent on one within a month even.
One thing I can`t stress enough is SAFETY. This should be without a doubt your top priority if you decide to get an e-scooter.

This is the scooter I want. So far this seems like the scooter Id get the most out of. I currently have an Unagi One E500. The Unagi is fine, but I want more range, capabilities and speed.

I’ve been using my wolf warrior + for 2 years now, I get to push it up to 100 kms (62.5 miles) it will really depend on how much weight the wolf is carrying.
I weigh 163 pounds (73.6 kilos)

3:30 FYI you aint talkin too much, i actually enjoy hearing your input more that seeing the scooter ride. I want too hear your experience as much as see you ride the scooter.
So second time where my wolf king while riding it the throttle stopped working. One time while in traffic and second time while in my 1st group ride. 1st time i thought maybe cuz it was hot but no.. the second time ( 30 min ago) the throttle stopped working after 5 minutes of riding in a group not heavy speeds, and cool day. And it just stopped randomly while using the throttle. Ey3 screen was on, lights worked, horn worked, but not the throttle. I turned it off and on many times but nope.. then about 15 min later throttle was working again… so now i went back to my car in shame ( was my first group ride ever and no one stayed behind with me) honestly so ready to give up. I cried… i feel like total crap honestly
I believe i have go pro footage of the wolf king throttle stop working in traffic.
You got the P7 "Acceleration" wrong, it is actually a "slow start" setting. So the highest setting 5 means the slowest start = the least acceleration. And battery saving only saves battery by limiting torque to 1/2 or 1/4. pressing the accelerator less would do the same (but is harder to pull off of course then just limiting it in general)

@@GingerOnWheels not bad man, much slower pace than up there, but not nearly as many trails to ride. It's getting there though!
58Volt is dangerously low volt for a 72volt battery. Lithium ion battery should cut off at 30% to prevent permanent damage to the battery. 72V batteries should cut off at 66 volt.
Nice range test!!, good to know that it will cut out at 59.9 volts, I have been playing with the P settings between 50% to 60%, for efficiency and it seems like mine does the best for voltage drop @ 55% but I have not taken it down to less than 10% battery remaining. I just did not want to do the scooter walk of shame....lol. I really like your channel! I would like to hear more about the regen brake issue.
Ahhaha iv had to do the scooter walk of shame twice now due to doubling my Mrs it drains twice as much twice as fast.. But alot more fun than nothing being on individual scooters.

Another fun fact - while the tires are 11" they get "smaller" if you step on it and squeeze them with your weight. So with the same amount of rotations (and that is the only way the scooter can calculate speed) a lighter person squeezing the tires less (or more air pressure) will drive faster by a tiny bit. With a heavy person and less air that can make a 11" tire to a 10.5" tire...
I have 10" tire on my 'MAX G30E II' run them at 70psi, im 85kg.
I wish makers would do people the simple favor of making brake lines, throttle cable, etc., with a few inches of slack to allow taller riders the ability to replace bars with taller bars.

Great video! It seems like the wolf king is a solid unit. But, I get a tiny hair more range (45 miles) with my mantis pro going 20-25 mph, a combination of eco and single motor, gear 3. Also, the mantis pro weigh is much less than the wolf king. I think I am pretty happy with the mantis pro. Thanks for the video!

Ginger get a handle bar raiser. They sell them on aliexpress. Bring the handle bars up 6 cm. A little higher the the mantis. I'm 6'1 and Is perfect.

Nice work bloke having to push sucks. I have had my DT for a bit over 1000 miles and only recently read about the regen braking with 100% battery issue, i must be lucky mine still works. Now i 'gingerly' :) wait till the volts have dropped a bit before any serious braking or disable it temporarily.
Scooters should only be used for recreational use, too dangerous for everyday commute. Rather pay for gas and be safe.
@1NRARE where do you think the majority of the electricity comes from? And what do you think happens to the scooter’s battery once it’s dead?

I get 47mile out of my 52cc gas scooter 2cycle . 1.4 liters . its 121mpg . I cary another 2 small 1 liters of fuel on drink bottles holders for all day trips ! I made a mod and it is waayyy more powerful and quieter

I meet people every day that have either sold their car, or are selling their car and switching to the micro mobility realm of electric scooters and ebikes for all of their travel needs. it is amazing indeed.
apparently it is obvious to everyone that there is no need to buy fuel, and people want to save a ton of money on car maintenance, by switching to the low cost and low maintenance world of super scooters.
cities are rushing to build safe travel micro mobility lanes which protect the ebikes and e-scooters from the several thousand pound automobiles. santa monica is leading the way, building special protected lanes for micro mobility only, with cement barriers protecting the micro mobility transportation, from automobiles. Downtown LA is also building these special lanes as fast as they can.
i love seeing doctors, lawyers and people wearing suites riding these micro mobility scooters throughout cities to reach their destinations.

you should have called me first, i would have told you that if you have a full battery, and you use rechargebreaks, it will either destroy your battery OR the rechargefunction, and the recharge function doesnt really give you much, maybe a total of 5% charge in total in one charge, but should not be used when the battery is full, it's like filling gas when already full, it will spoil!

The range test! Well done dude. Thanks for this pertinent info. The long trails n lanes you guys have for riding is amazing. Wonder what Voro says about the flashing 0% 🤔. I assume if I rode it in good conditions but avg speed of 25mph with bursts of 30-40mph I’d be able to get above 30 miles at 200lbs. Loved the info you provided about the deck size n stem height. That was helpful. At 5’10 and size 11 sneakers sounds like I’d be comfy. Oh n the bugs is another reason why I got a full face helmet lol

Sounds like you were having the same issue I was having with wind and humidity when I did the range test on my Emove Cruiser. You can just feel the wind draining the battery.

How's the scooter holding up? Can we get a video about the overall reliability and any issues that you have experiences and how many miles it has done?
Its held up fairly well. My only complaint is that I had the top off the hydraulic brake fluid once and the rear suspension is too soft. Harder durometer bushings are required.

So today since my friend has the pro I finally have a buddy that can hang now I’m the one lacking slightly ha 47 miles and 55 percent battery left I swear if you go in eco gear one and just chill at 14 mph it will go even more then 50 I’m so happy with will get the pro soon may wait to see if kabbo releases a better one
I've heard Kaabo has some nice scooters in the works for 2024 but no confirmation from them yet.
I'm in no financial position to own a car so this would be the perfect alternative

Beware, range is about the Wh and not Ah. So given the same Ah more Volts will still give you more range (given you drive the same speed...). Vsett has the same Ah but less Volt so a smaller battery still.

I’ve sold my 11x and have pre ordered a wolf king. The 11x definitely isn’t as good as it’s hyped up to be. The steering is horrible and threw me off the scooter at 70kmh putting me in hospital. But I’ve only heard great things about the stability of the wolf king at high speeds and we get these scooters to ride like crazy so we need to feel safe

@@BudgieFan101 not that it’s stiff but it’s not very good to control. The front wheel can wobble out of nowhere and doesn’t feel stable at high speeds. I added a steering damper and it still wasn’t good enough :(. I should get my wolf king on Friday :) I don’t think you’ll regret it if you make the switch
@@rammo2856 I agree. I use a Freeride 2400 for everyday which has 720 miles and counting on the Odometer. 2400 Watts is ideal to shuttle you in every day situations. Keep me posted on the Kaboo King and I'll look out for your videos on it I'll subscribe to you. Cheers

Holy cows, the difference between king and 11+ in range isn't that big, I thought my self 11+ would do better since it has 35ah capacity compare to 28 on king, perhaps I should get king instead of 11+ 🤔
I thought the same. I guess the extra voltage makes a pretty big difference. Glad I went with the king instead of the 11+ now.
W11+ 60v * 35aH = 2100 wh
King 72v * 28aH = 2016 wh

Hey ginger, I remember when you started scooter channel an I commend you for your channel, Top channel bro, Yeah the king is bad ass, I am working on a project myself, I got scooter like dude who built the goblin off Alien rides, Big up Alien rides aswell, But yeah I am chucking a powerful motor on it, Hub motor coz at the moment its chain driven, But yeah fast sss motor with a high amp controller, An it will be as fast, Plus I like the idea of it being a one off, I understand now why people build their own E-bikes, You can create your own specific power an speed, A sleeper scooter, lol, When I am done with the scooter I will chuck a little vid up, Hope alibaba don't take too long with delivery or if anyone knows where I can get high powered 11 inch hub motors an controller at the best prices that is, lol...

Love how you say your a big guy at 230lb - I'd say I'm probably double and considering a Wolf King (or zero 11x or similar).
Make sure you check out the max rider weights for each scooter before you buy! The 11x / phaeton with a suspension upgrade might work wonders for you.
@@GingerOnWheels tried the 11x locally here recently ( was worried about weight distribution and footing as well) - such a dream to handle. Rider weight there is fine, the others a bit under - challenge time!
Hadnt considered suspension upgrades tho actually...

great video! I have a comment about (and questions ) the King. when it is in dusl motor I find the throttle nearly impossible to control. starting out I always get too much power even with p settings at lowest such as acceleraton at low and torque to 50%. Can you recommend a scooter with power but better throttle control im 56 and the King is, to me reciculous to try to control unless im in single motor mode. Is the Victor or any other voro powerful fun I can control at low speeds without going to one motor mode (I hated Eco as it was TOO anemic I might as well get a cheap 500watt if Im going to use Eco)! Thanks for your reviews and help! i’m working with Voro motors so i would need to stick to those offered Voro motors scooters. thanks

I’ve has similar issues with the ABS and regenerative brakes failing very early on in my new Warrior King. Both stopped working within my first 30 miles of using the scooter. That kind of failure does not bode well for long-term reliability.
I'm curious if you remember the exact circumstances under which yours stopped working? Full charge, hard stop? Half way through a ride while coasting?
Yup. Its very cheaply made for sure. Voromotors wants to sell them too cheap. And that hurts the quality.

If the king warrior goes 40 miles then u really only can go 20 miles on it and then turn around and go back to where u started because if u dnt u will end up Walking it back with a dead battery understand

Wolf king or veteran sherman? The price is the same, I personally would choose the Sherman.
It’s a tough one I have bolth and they are very different but bolth a ton of fun. What I hate about the king is bullshit range my thunder kills it in range riding exactly the same. Sherman is just amazing no complaints at all. Range is absolutely absurd.

I’m averaging like 25-30 miles on my Wolf Warrior when riding aggressive 35 mph+.

Than when I pull over and get a break it goes all the way up to like normal it's so weird that's why I usually don't go to fast but I don't think that should be a problem
@@simranjeetrocks yeah that’s normal..! You’ll get use to it over time. When your on the battery full throttle the Volts will drop. Soon as you let off. It goes back up. I gauge my battery off my miles per trip so I know what I’ll definitely get before a recharge.👌🏽😅

Hi, I have a Segway max g30 with the Monorim suspension.
I have a disability that limits me. A bike is no good for me. The Segway is coming up short for my needs. I pull a dog trailer for my service dog. I'm looking for something that is off road capable, great for climbing hills. Has great battery life. I don't need to go any faster than 25mph. But realistically 15mph or 25kph is plenty as I'll have a trailer. I'm in Canada and prices are alot more than usd. So I'm trying to keep the price down.
Anything you can suggest for someone on an extreme low income. I feel like I bought the wrong scooter. So I'll have to save again and sell the Segway.

I'm surprised your cruise control works because on my WW11 it doesn't, maybe my replacement unit will.
Did you adjust the appropriate P settings for cruise control. Sometimes people can miss that one.
@@GingerOnWheels If I recall it's P6 set it to 1 but nowhere on any manual tells you how long you need to hold it for to engage.
