I hope you can answer this comment because I am choosing my objects for this same prompt but my teacher says "tok is not a yes or no question and your objects must include one that answers the prompt with a yes , one that answers it with a no and one that is in between". so for this prompt i chose the 2015 dress, the ocean and the space and said how there is no such technology to first know if the colors you see are the same colors that i am seeing, they might be different colors but we call them the same but we will never know if that is the case. and second there is no such technology yet to discover the rest of the 90-95% of the ocean, because we only know 5-10% about it which is also due to the lack of technology. and lastly the space, we only 4% of the space because the technology is our constraint to discovering it and it limits us. I am honestly not even sure of how valid these are after your video as they seem so wrong. But what i noticed is that in your sample you answered the prompt with a direct yes answer, is that allowed ? becayse she wants me to change 2 objects as they all answer it by ÿes there are some things unknowable"
heyy, i have some objects for my prompt " how can we know that current knowledge is an improvement upon past knowledge" but I am not sure if they are too good, my teacher is also very vague about it,
I wanted to confirm if my objects selection are okay for this prompt. I choose a painting by Karl Bryullov called a dream of a girl before sunrise” and mentioned how i wondered why we dream and how there is no scientific reasoning, the second object is the cover of a song age of aries that says secret knowledge of zodiac sign to question the knowability of the future by 12 assigned constellations, (i was thinking to replace this with tarot cards if this object is not suitable)
@GetanAinTOK your video was really helpful. I am doing my exhibition on the same prompt and my objects are “ the god helmet” which was created by neuroscientists to replicate the presence of god. My second object is the meaning of Robert Frost’s poem The road not taken( I took this specific poem because I have studied it before and hated people looking for it’s complex meaning and to support it have found a quote by Robert frost talking about how he likes to keep his readers in the dark. My third object is an article I found about the definition of culture. I am not too sure about how good these are. Could you please tell me what you think?
Be careful with how you're treating the poem - you need to treat the poem as an object with a specific context, time and place. Talking about the meaning of the poem isn't exactly what you want to do. See my other videos for how to properly use written texts as exhibition objects
hi i have a question about the texas history books object, how does information being shown in the texas history books which differ by each state make it unknowable?
Good question. I'm actually saying it about a historical fact in general. When it comes to a historic fact that is disputed, is anything ever knowable?
hello i have a question, if i choose mythology as an object (a book) is referring to the characters in the book still considered referring to the object or not?
Hey, I was planning on doing the same prompt but I am really not sure about my objects. I got two ideas and I am still searching for a third object. My first one is a photograph of my grandfather who died when I was really young and I wanted to link that to the loss of memory. My second one is a obituary notice of a good schoolfriend which I planned to link to the topic of death and what happens afterwards; but I am not sure if this is too dark or even allowed. I would be very thankful for some advice :)
Don't worry about something being too dark, just make sure it connects! If you are interested, we can set up a zoom tutoring session through my fiverr store! I just helped someone though zoom and then helped them with their paper. Here's the link! www.fiverr.com/s2/616f22236e

Although I sent my email I have not yet received the free pack.....
My objects are the Bible and earth and the infinity symbol are those goods objects for this question?
Sflr - the infinity symbol is not an object with a real place/time context, so I'd avoid that.
I’m ur first subscriber btw 😇 😂
Yay! Thanks so much!

I need some suggestions for objects for the prompt : are some things unknowable
Best thing to do is thing about things that are personal that you have your own insight on. I chose things that I was interested in

Hey, I was just wondering, how does the grandfather picture link to the prompt? I'm struggling to find an object too :((
Wow!
Glad you like!
JUst a question though
How is the first object and the second object have different perspectives and justifications?
Do you mean in general? Or with my examples?
