It's life expired and being replaced with a single span structure made from weathering steel. It will provide much improved sighting of the mainline signal and better access into the carriage yard.
That was awsome. I loved when the dawn broke. Poor buggers in that house. All that noise and light throughout the night. Maybe they were given a night in a hotel by the demo company or at least were warned beforehand.
Just use a little imagination, and there was no indication in the text that the pictures were over an extended period! No one would leave valuable equipment unprotected over an unsupervised period, against the weather or against theft! The resulting photographs were quite useless as records of a procedure and certainly were not of a professional quality as a technical record.
very enjoyable shame about the rain drops, will there be a follow up vlog of the new bridge going in i wonder
Probably
Great job, thank you Railcam
Thanks Railcam excellent just what I wanted to see and thought I'd missed out. What a shame the weather was against us. Very much appreciated
At Sheffield they have just restored some points where the Tank Freightliner Train derailed last year.
very good video sounds bit like star wars on fast forward
I wonder if the new bridge will be photographer friendly, the old on e was very handy.
Neat. Is it just replacement due to life-expiry or is it being replaced with one compatible with future electrification?

Anyone know if it's finished yet?

And now there’s no bridge here at all as of today
new bridge this week-end or next.
Is it being replaced I wonder
Yes
It is, the new bridge will be a single span without the central pillar.
Cheers
Its since February this year been replaced old footbridge taken away all night long and early hours first thing in the morning
Interesting
👍
A pity "Railcam" couldn't take the trouble to keep the rain off their gear! Most unprofessional. Made a waste of time recording the work.
I take it you could have done a better job then….?
Keep water off a camera which is outside 24/7 not sure how you would like achieve this

And for "Greg, " I AM a retired professional photographer and would certainly have not presented work of this poor quality to the client.
@@davinahockin3536 I think you would find that the camera is a permanent CCTV device
