    If you're only replacing the battery, and not the strap, you don't need to remove the strap to remove the back of the watch. There is enough flexibility to slide it out after removing the 4 screws, and this saves a significant amount of time.
    Beware of the tiny spring which passes through a hole in the insulating discs to make contact with the metal back of the watch, it's easy to lose, and if you do, the alarm function will not work.
    The battery is a CR1616, for those who might need to know!

    Thank-you! This was super helpful and I managed to change my battery successful thanks to your great instructions and description of that pesky clip holding the battery in, and also the contact reset after battery replacement. Found snapping the battery strap tiny clip back in the hardest part. Great job and thank-you!

      Baby g straps of particular models are extremely hard to find. I don’t think you can even find one. Perhaps they don’t make it.

    Watched four other videos and you were only to demonstrate and say how to unlatch the battery cage. Attention to detail!

      Really appreciate you taking time to leave a comment. Thank you. I also feel frustrated when I come on to RUclips and the videos only show like 10% of what I want to know. So I try my best to show 100% to the best of my limited ability lol. Cheers

    How to take the battery out? U didn’t show the most important part…

    • @BigSoBig
      @BigSoBig Год назад

      Just use a needle or some kind of thin nail and push that end of the metal clip down that black plastic thing and slightly push it outward, it should pop-out. You have to use the same trick to put it back.
