Great video, very clear and insightful! - I'm honestly wondering if that scene with Fragile and Lou even takes place in the game. Let me explain- I want to theorize that this is a scene similar to the one shown in the first trailer of DS1, with Sam on the Beach. That scene didn't exactly "happen" in the living world either, it was more of a dream. I'm wondering if this scene actually happens with Sam, and then it's repeated during the playthrough with different changes, one of them having Fragile in place of Sam. I kinda didn't know why Fragile would be explaining everything that happened in BRIDGES and with Fragile Express to Sam if they were in contact even after Sam deserted with Lou. There are other inconsistencies like Lou being so far from Fragile after the accident that you've mentioned, or the tar leaking out of Fragile's eye. - I also have a theory as to what exactly is the "deal" with Lou- so you know how in the last scene of DS1 Lou is seemingly revived and is holding Amelie's quipu in her hand? What if Amelie either gave her whole soul or a part of it to Lou to both revive her and to get a chance to live the life of a normal human girl and be close to Sam? I think that it would explain the chat Higgs and Sam have in the trailer- Higgs killed Lou because he wants to become a second Amelie and become a new extinction entity, and that piece of Amelie being in Lou was keeping him from that. Higgs is suprised that there's "life" eminating from Lou's old pod, because he thought that he killed Amelie, but her spirit is strong so it lingers with the world of the living. He kinda has that "you clever bitch" tone of voice and facial expression, because Amelie beat him again. Then he says "you still don't know" to Sam, because out of all people, they know Amelie the most- but only Higgs is aware of how much of a trickster that can manipulate people she is, so he thinks that Sam is supressing that he already knows that Amelie is connected to Lou. It's the same with "but all that pain you nurse is going to get worse", because Sam will suffer when he finds out that Amelie lied to him and tricked him once more. They're both associated with angel imagery, Lou has her little wings and Amelie is called an angel of death. I think that Sam will have an arc where he doesn't know how to feel about Lou, only to come around and love her no matter what. - I really like your theory on someone from APAC being Fragile's benefactor, it makes a lot of sense, but I think that this person will have their own goals in mind. - I also agree with your "Higgs' cult is focused around Amelie and Higgs is trying to become her"
