      @@BenHawkinsPhotography I was on a Liberty ship (Tutuila USN ARG-4) that sailed from Norfolk, VA to Vung tau, Vietnam 1965. That trip took months!

      No problem glad you enjoyed it .. you still get pretty crazy flash storms in Auz. I lived in Sydney and thought it was the end of the world one day

      I hope we find time to record some more.
      There is a recording of old north frisian (most northern Germany) folksongs in planing. May a Video happend as well.
      The singer is frisean but now living on Guernsey.

    I wish this was a longer film. Loved the way it was done, but I feel there wasn't enough storm reference to follow-up after the little girl opened the chest. But def beautiful filming.

    Call that a storm? Pah! You should have been in the car park on Pendennis during the gale that sank the Fastnet fleet in 1979...! Sea spray and spume hitting the car windscreen.

    Does anyone else remember The Dolfin, a ?Dutch? fishing boat which washed-up onto Mousehole Beach in a storm in 2000/2001?
    Loads of people went to look at it, and you could taste the diesel on your lips in the sea-spray. It was there for months before salvage crews finally got permission to cut it up for scrap.

      The Dolphin turned back to Mousehole thinking it was Newlyn and steamed onto the rocks.

      @@jeremyjones5436 Thanks for that; I'm not a sailor, but I would imagine that it would be a very easy mistake to make at sea, at night, in a storm, and in unfamiliar waters - just power-up and head towards the lights.
