@@itsmotor6322 In the main stream he is pretty much unknown - sure thats just the way it is. Takes nothing away from the fact that he is the best guitarist in the world atm for me and loads of over fans just like me - There is no denying his brilliance and I am sure after King For A Day Fool For A Lifetime he could have easly became a more commercially orientated player who can bang out big riffs for the masses but then he would be the guitarist we all love. Spruance needs more love. Dude is hanging with some of greatest musicians ever and its like a walk in the park on a warm, sunny day... Trevor Dunn is the same, not enough credit...
People forget when Trey was hired by Faith No More, he had so much material that it was later released as a 2 disc box set. ...and that's not including the Bsides to singles.
I don't what's more impressive - that he wrote that in high school, or that he can still play it now without missing a beat. Probably the former, but it's still awesome that he can switch gears to this kind of playing with ease.
Dude, I'm so blessed!!! I was standing (well...not *standing*. More like headbanging/dancing like a blissed-out fool) right in front of the stacks on Trey's side. Thank you for reminding me of such an amazing night!!!
When you watch that Eureka HS talent show, you aren’t shocked at all how talented they are. Mr. Bungle is that once in a million years lighting in a bottle.
Saw Mr Bungle for the first time ever 2 nights ago in Perth, Western Australia. Having been a massive Faith No More fan, I was obviously aware of Trey's guitar work on King for a Day, but had never seen him play as he never toured with them. Oh my lord, I never realised how talented this guy is!! FMD, he absolutely shreds!! His thrash riffs and solos were on point the entire show, he never missed a note and his tone was clean and clear throughout. I am now on a quest to research everything that he has done to expand my mind a little.... Started with this RUclips video. 👌🤘
When I first heard this announced, I was excited but skeptical. They made the perfect moves to make a very good album. This might be one of the best comeback albums I’ve ever seen.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 flew across to see them twice in vegas this year. What a sick band. If youve not seen the Warfield 1992 Set Mr. B does, Trey does some stuff during "My Ass is On Fire" that i cant even describe... and the end of that set..... 😘👌 beautiful chaos. I say again, what a sick band.
fucking fantastic. They have been amazing since conception. Saw an old show where patton was in a sado mask and throwing speakers at the crowd and shit hahahaha. Saw them live later on during their disco days, and saw patton in his other projects live too. They're all amazing musicians and so under rated
@@JoshThorsen Very true but Patton was only a 3rd of the main writers people seem to forget how many songs Trey and Trevor wrote.. but go ahead and call me a clown its fine.
@@JoshThorsen trevor and trey wrote alot of the music, but patton is kind of the face of the band, he gave them the craziness. all 3 of them are equally important. bungle wouldnt exist without any of them
And yet ... Geordie Walker of Killing Joke blows this away with a single open ringing note feeding back in the song 'Change' ... sometimes less is more.
spacethoast whos off and what do you know? People get older they get more tolerant Id think they are fine. Surely music is more important than egos and old grudges
Spruance and Patton have been playing together again since 2010, starting with Mondo Cane, then some SC3 tracks. They are fine. They all get their cues from Dave if you watch. Or listen.
Nah, if you watch Patton's gigs from early Bungle on you'll see he kinda naturally faces the crowd centre left for most of the time. I think he never eyeballs bandmates he totally trusts to deliver. If you're comparing it with Fantomas that's different - he was more a conductor so had to face them all to cue them. Agree with legalfreedom.
The underrated Trey.
He is?

Agree. Trevor's work with John zorns The Dreamers is wonderful. The album got taken off RUclips but the album "O'o" is fantastic.

Trey is the reason King for a Day is their best album (in my opinion)

Dave learned all the drum parts as a surprise for Trey I'm fairly sure I read...and Trey had to practice for quite a while to sort out the parts!
He missed a couple beats but there is a major difference between 15 and 50
Both bruh
Both
Obvi

BEST MR BUNGLE MEMBER
You have to love that almost thirty years after their brilliant debut album their fourth LP is their loudest, angriest and more hardcore yet.
When I first heard this announced, I was excited but skeptical. They made the perfect moves to make a very good album. This might be one of the best comeback albums I’ve ever seen.
Its actually their first album.
He went more nuts at Faxed Head in Melbourne, 1997. Was so good.
Trey wrote this when he was 15
SPRUANCEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Get these cats in the Studio ASAP
They're in the studio re-recording Raging Wrath! For sure!
I'll say it again.
Holy. Fucking. Shit balls.

Trey is a beast.
Bunghole Grind.
Do the Bungle Grind!!
Hold it fellas. I'm afraid you're just too darn loud.
Damn kids and their noisey noises musics
Nice to see someone giving Trey some credit finally. Tired of all the Patton worship
patton is god, trey is jesus

Spruance is genius... sad to see Patton show's no respect and only his back to him in all performance they did... hmm some tension and trouble?
I doubt that. He's clearly not worried about the normal guys. He's just keeping an eye on Ian and Lombardo to make sure they get all their cues.
If you only knew how far off you are...

Loud noise. Just loud noise. Waste of talent.
You should check out the rest of Mr. Bungle then, sounds nothing like this
