This video offers advice from someone who spent countless years perfecting their aim, only to find it didn't lead very far. Instead of focusing on just one skill that doesn't take you far, make your life easier by learning everything that will make this gun fun and give you results.
while yes its true that aim isnt all aim is the only skill that is the same in every game and while u shouldnt play kovaaks for 3 hourse a day it can help u by a lot ingame. only warming up in kovaaks can help u by alot yes also warming up ingame is importent but at the end its like a gym doing it consistently and trying out new things will make u betterr no matter what but u just need to combined it with ingame practise
please continue doing videos like this. i found this video really interesting and even though it didnt perform that good compared to your other videos, i think this type of content has a lot of potential
I still think aim is a key component when it comes to Valorant though. In higher ranks, everyone has an elite understanding of the game so a good way to separate yourself from others in term of skill is to have elite level aiming. For example, I watched the Team Heretics vs G2 game and Heretics and there were rounds were Wo0t and paTiTek simply out aimed G2 entirely. Not saying that they won all because of better aim, but having elite level aim made for some crazy clutches that just wouldn't be possible without that kind of mechanical skill.
@@Haeyoday These are pro players. Those concepts are more than covered by them already. And with your movement argument, even if you have good movement, if a player can't micro adjust their crosshair with their target's dynamic movement, then they are going to lose the majority of their gun fights. Once again, aim is not everything but it is an important skill to polish like any other in Valorant.
@@JacorryD hmm so ur telling me pro's are perfect and movement doesnt work? see you in my next video where i prove you wrong because i will be getting clips where pro's abuse movement instead of aim, those who aim will be left back and will lose to those who decide to use movement instead :)
@Haeyoday your reading comprehension is abysmal💀 I never said movement doesn't work, I said movement alone without appropriate aim to complement it won't win players a lot of gun fights. And I never said the pros were perfect you goof, don't put words in my mouth. You just seem very narrow minded on this topic for no reason.

i notice that whenever this topic of "aim vs gamesense" comes up, for some reason people are under the impression that you have to pick one LOL. majority of these points can be countered with just... aim training after your ranked sessions. This is what most top aim pros say to do anyway. Nearly every voltaic, rAim, or really any high level aimer will agree that aim is only a fraction of the game, and if you're aim training to get good at a game, your time should be spent 30/70. 30% is in the aim trainer btw. whenever a video comes up like this one which crucifies aim training, I feel like the creator is assuming people who aim train are spending 90% of their time in the aim trainer, and then 10% in game. idk, I just find it kind of annoying how most of these creators will say that gamesense is the be all/ end all when honestly, you should 100% practice both if you have the time. tldr: both are important and should be focused on equally, you could have a god timing, round winning play, big brain 5head idea, whatever, but you need to be able to hit the shot too.
@@wodkdnwiwondsn nah dm is clearly not useless, it forces u to learn how to peek and crossahir placement. You re a low elo player trust me u still arent able to tell what s useless or not, the fact that u talk about flicks literally proved it
LMAO THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEB SAYING TO MY FRIENDS. Valorant does not need aim, just crosshair placement and not kuch aiming. This is why when radiants or immortals play aim trainers, they suck because they dont have raw aim because they dont need it ingame lmaoooo. If you want a game that needs raw aim play apex or ow where higher TTK and the idea of "stick it to the enemy until it dies" plays.
Very interesting video as always. Just wondering, what was your rank before you realised you needed to improve other aspects of the game like movement/ positioning instead of aiming even though your aim is top tier?
Question, at 5:55 the way asuna is clearing here: Why does that work? Cuz my first reaction would be that asuna's at a disadvantage here because he has angle disadvantage so taking tiny peeks like that would expose his shoulder to the brim and he's not backing up between peeks to be faster on the peek so his peeker's advantage isn't as good and yet he wins the fight, and when i've copied this behaviour I too usually win the fight but I don't know why. I get that he's isolating 1v1s, I just don't get how the brim doesn't have the advantage in the fight. Is it just that all the alternatives are even worse? Is it that the peeker's advantage is still just so huge it overrides the angle disadvantage here? What am I missing?
do u offer free vod reviews? im stuck in silver-gold ranks and im above average in aim trainers so i think i struggle hard with the things u mentioned in the video

what if they just pre aim correctly and had decent crosshair placement and they used movement
maybe they wouldnt need aim as much
