Can one separate documentaries from TV shows with Nova via HDD? Kodi doesn't allow this in the "Set action" or "change content" part. Does it scrape from TVDB?
Great player!! Can it do 50 Hz smooth playback as Kodi can? For all of as not gaving a 24 fps screen... Unfortunatelly it seems it doesn't support it. Other than that, I like the picture and sound quality a lot!
Does it have a similar feature to plex’s ‘on deck’ ?I know there is recently watching, but that seems to only show individual episodes, rather than where you are on a particular tv show....
No plex has a lot more to offer and is a great way to go, Nova is a very lite app that has a very good player and not all the bloated extras to slow it down.

The max capacity is going to be on your device not the app. I have had 6TB drive with 8200 movies and never had an issue. When ever you have skipping or pausing etc is due to a slower read/write transfer from the external drive.
You have clearly been brainwashed by users of insecure sketchy virus laden apks.......quality apps like this are available the 1 place you should get all your apps.....it's android so....gee maybe The Google Play Store perhaps.
Kodi is a full media center software which I like a lot but with the proper devices I like Plex even more. Nova is a great light weight player for most.

It does much of that but it is a free app so I suggest you give it a try for your needs.

I have not seen a way to add your own posters as of yet.

I am using this now, but is there anyway to modify the tag information and embed the tag information once it is populated.

Hi, it's more of what your android box will accept. Some boxes will only do 256G and some will handle many TB's

There are a number of them at the google play store.
I can see my TV shows, only my movies, please help!
Make sure the permissions are set correctly to that drive and or folder containing the movies
I think I like it better than plex and Kodi
