The notes for Egyptian Smoke are actually [T]: Ginger, Pink Pepper, Black Tea [M]: Grasse Rose, Papyrus [B]: Patchouli, Palo Santo, Labdanum and Vanilla. That's why I've been recommending Parfumo for like 4 years now. So much better than Fragrantica in almost every way. Really enjoy Amalfi Citrus myself. A massive haul guys!
Egyptian Smoke is a new favourite of mine. 👌 So good. Amalfi Citrus was a fab one as well! So you feel parfumo is way more accurate than Fragrantica then?
@@rottenrebels It's been the go-to since 2017. Hesitant at first to mention it because I didn't want the douchebags from Fragrantica to make their way over, but when it started it was basically the niche snobs version of Fragrantica. 😄 More fragrances, quicker new releases, better statistics, more accurate ratings, sorting ability, lengthier and more artistic reviews, bottle pics, the works. I'm willing to bet it's why Fragrantica updated their U.I.
Dunhill Agar wood is a LERRRRV ❤ for me. I keep the bottle on my desk in the office so I can admire the beautiful bottle and spray it on when ever I want to (not that you need to, it’s performance is awesome). While Rasasi Ambergris Showers is not bad quality by any means, to me it’s just a stuffy, boring fragrance; it makes me depressed. But Tobacco Blaze is sex in a bottle: my ultimate favourite, but Dunhill Agar wood comes close.
Hi! I actually enjoy Ambergris showers, but Tobacco Blaze is DEFINITELY the one that's the most attractive of the two.. LOVE that scent 🤩 Agar Wood is so good.. Don't like the bottles though.. They look nice but some of the caps (on those dunhill bottles) ended up loose and I don't like that they did not write the name of the scent on the bottle. The scent itself is gorgeous though😉
@@rottenrebels I have the opposite experience with those Dunhill caps. It takes a bit of effort to get them off. Thus, safe to pick up by the cap. But I hear what your saying - the fit and finish does feel 3rd rate.
Ah yes, was waiting for this haul! always so excitiiiiiiiiiing!!! 😊🥰💖🙌🏽 Love the unboxings, the sound of the plastic wrap coming off, am I weird?! lol😁 Also gives me fragrance ideas, really love the notes in Armani My Way Intense and Guerlain Mon Guerlain Eau De Parfum! 🥰 so many great frags here for both men and women! Thank u guys blessings!🥰🙏🏽💖💖💖
Thank you so much 🤗 Yes, Mon Guerlain is a beauty and My Way Intense had a unique scent that might not be for everyone, but it was really, really nice. 😍
Do you believe that the Mon Guerlain's are a good value for both price point and quality? Looking for a Christmas gift for my wife, and would like your recommendation.
From my point of view: I think they are beautiful scents that most women (and men) will enjoy. Maybe Sandra Solomon Fragrance can give you her feedback as well.
I think that the original Edp is good value for both price and quality. Ok longevity and ok projection, not the greatest but not bad either. Perfect fragrance for a gift to someone you love👌🏻 Its so easy to like 😊
Those 2 are probably my two favorites in the line. They are all quite nice though and some has grown on me a lot since I've bought them (Indian Sandalwood is one of those.) which ones have you tried?
I’m on the same with that Rasasi. I got indonesia… I really like but I know it won’t be a compliment getter. Very oriental and the quality is top notch. Going to get Ambergris on my next purchase. Rasasi hasn’t disappoint.
Ambergris is cool, actually already received a compliment for it. 5 mins past the opening and it's a cool leather focused fragrance with a unique touch! I have not tried Indonesia yet!
I’m going to blind buy Egyptian Smoke but on fragrantica says it similars to Intense Cafe so what do u think, I’m trust you . I blind bought many perfumes after your reviews and not disappointedly😄
Hi! I love egyptian smoke and I did a review of it! 😊 To me it bascially dries down to a fantastic blend of something smoky and something sweet.. It's smoky side is not of the standard kind, and it's (at least to my nose) more of a smooth kind of smoke. There's also a prominent dose of something honeyed, with a bit of vanilla and a slight floral touch. To my nose that floral touch is NOT strong.. But other people might think it is.. Different noses different tastes and different experiences. 😊 So in a nutshell, to me it's a pretty unique smooth "smokiness" with honey and vanilla. I have Intense Cafe and I do NOT think they are that similar. There's really not that smoke in Intense Cafe and I don't get honey in it either. And Intense cafe to me is basically rose with vanilla with a bit of musk and it's quite strong on both.. Egyptian smoke does not have that same intense floral touch that the Montale has.. Someone else might feel differently but that's my take on it. 🤷♂️ Regardless though.. I love the scent.. A fab fragrance and probably one of the best from Dunhill. It's not the easiest scent to explain but hopefully you´ll enjoy it if you end up getting it. Please do get back on how you feel about it if you end up buying it. Regardless if you love it or not 😁👍
@@rottenrebels U will for sure😊. I'm a woman who were many men perfumes since I was teenage. Thank u sooooo much for your opinion and for all great reviews 👍👍👍🤗
It's crazy good! I gave it a high rating when I did my review of it. I think they might be pulling some of them. Not sure though since they just added 2 in the collection🤷♂️
I really enjoyed this video. I’m new to your channel and This is my first “haul” with the two of you-great chemistry. I’m a great lover of Dunhill fragrances; it all started in 1986 with Dunhill Edition. I just ordered Dunhill Mongolian Cashmere and look forward to your review of it. As for Dunhill’s citrus and lavender fragrances: I find them to be missing something on their own and have started to combine either or them with Dunhill’s Indian Sandalwood-the depth is worthwhile. Cheers!
I like this. Great content, you both are super adorable. 95% of these kind of videos from "more renown" content creators (CC's) still has shit sound quality, but not here. This I can subscribe to.
I Have Dunhill Arabian Desert. Very weak, not able to survive even 5 hours here in Dubai winters. Scent profile is very beautiful, it has pure middle eastern Oudh vibes but sadly it fades very quick.
Looking to buy sauvage edp after I heard by alot of people to parfum doesn't last or project I already have the edt but I love the sauvage DNA are the edt and edp different enough to own both?
Hi! To me, The answer to this question really comes down to how much you love that DNA. I love Sauvage (edt) but I lost interest in it a few years ago. The EdP and the Parfum are both GREAT and both are scents I enjoy using.. and since I love that core Sauvage scent, owning them all is not overkill in any way. Like Sandra mentioned Elixir feels like a sort of fusion between different sauvages but with it's own twist. 👌
@@rottenrebels I like it alot along with others I have two of each brand like chanel, ysl and georgio armani but with dior I only have sauvage edt (well I do have dior homme 2020 ) but I'm not counting it. I ended up going with a 2.0 bottle of the edp and got it discounted so it's worth it to me. THANKS for the reply
I don't 100% trust reviews where they come straight from the sealed box. They need to get some air in the bottle to macerate for a couple days to get the accurate effect. That's why people think testers are better batches or intentionally higher concentrations than the full presentation ones...because they get properly aerated and sit for days and days curing off excess alcohol. Every comment or review I read where someone says their batch is garbage, or smells like ball sweat, either got ruined by sunlight somehow, or they are judging it based on the initial blast of stale alcohol that separated from the oil in the straw. When I first sprayed my Bentley Intense, I thought it smelled like stale scotch. But after a month in my dark closet, it's boozy excellence. Same goes for my CDNIM LE Parfum. The first spray was like rubbing alcohol and cigarettes. Second day was 50% better. By the weekend it was 75%. And a month later it's amazing smoky pineapple magic, as advertised.
