  • The vast countryside that stretches from Saitama City to the center of Saitama Prefecture in Kawaguchi City is commonly known as "Minuma Tanbo".
    The Cherry Blossom Corridor in Minuma Tanbo is known as the largest cherry blossom corridor in Japan with approximately 2,000 cherry blossom trees along the Minuma Substitute Canal that flows through the Minuma Tanbo that extend to Minuma Ward and Midori Ward in Saitama City, stretching for a total length of more than 20 kilometers.
    This cherry blossom corridor was planted by local citizens and organizations, and was initially about 18.2 meters long, but has now been expanded to about 20.25 kilometers, making it the longest in Japan.
