I’m absolutely not worried about you finishing this. I’m not worried about Smoke. I even think the kettle will make it. BUT. I’m seriously worried about the shirt.
I liked the clever news interviews. Fun strategy. Thanks for sharing the scenery, rocks, boulders, streams, beaver dam, ect. I am with you all the way. Be safe. Onward slowly and sure.
I've seen a couple hikers say they got through it an hour and a half. They're lying! Thank you for a true assessment of what it looks like to get through that thing. I've never seen anybody in video show it quite so accurately and graphically.
Maddie is wise to study film production as this AT video sequence shows natural talent for film creation. Smoke is not given credit for hiking ahead giving views Maddie could not get on her own.
You’re almost there, Maddy! You’ve got got this AP Trail in the bag, girl! And Smoke is the mvp for bringing a woman some comfort food (pretzel bites) during a time off distress! lol I’m glad you’re not alone anymore. ❤️
Ranger and Smoke Master wiggle their way through Maine some tough terrain in the mountain forest. Gracefully settling down for some yummy yum yum calorie up, hydration intake and some laughs to our viewers. Thanks for sharing. 🥂✌️♥️💪🇺🇸
You conquered the Mahoosuc Notch like a boss. I loved the breaking news but. I laughed out lot when the dude did the mic drop, and you're like, "that's expensive equipment".😅
Love the interviews - actually had some insights into what you all have been going through, complete with a mic drop! Every time I watch hikers go through the notch, it astounds me. Love the kettle placements as you guys negotiated the boulders. Congratulations for negotiating the notch!
Excellent footage of everything Maddie, you have a great ability and patience to film and hike at the same time. Rest when you can, it is so hard to get enough nutrition out there, take what you can get. Good Luck! 🍀
Wow, that looked super tough. Awesome that you both made it through okay. Three cheers for Smoke!! What a great boyfriend, so thoughtful. Hang in there, almost done!!
Yay! You guys did it! So proud of you! What a ride! Maddie, I heard some hikers take Benedryl to knock them out so they sleep thru the night. I take Tylenol PM. It helps with the aching, stiffness, and soreness, plus it knocks me out. Bit groggy in the morning, but coffee takes care of that! Yeah, I know, not good for your kidneys, but its only once in a while and I drink a lot.(Of water! LOL) And kudos to SMoke who knows how to treat a woman right! Pretzel bites and helping with your pack, plus staying close so you had help in case of injury. What a great guy!
Hey there, I enjoy watching your videos! I did the AT for about 2 weeks and was filled with sooo many extremes but best time of my life. I would of loved to have done the entire thing, so its special to watch someone else do it and film it .And I like that you are soo honest about your feelings..When your mad, sad, happy..just real emotion! You can be funny to..liked the news anchor bit..I only spent two weeks on it and had many emotions lol! I also think its so cool you have a fellow to hike it with you, he seems very sweet to and cute too😊...Safe travels to you both and will continue to watch!! 🤟🌲🌻😳🤗
Incredible footage Maddie! I think a testament to the difficulty is it caused you to utter a curse word at 9:40. I don't think I have heard you curse in any other video. I wish I had your self control!
Congratulations on the miles accomplished 🎉❤ A bit challenging but you both are doing well and can even share a positive attitude and a smile. 😮 Nice video! ❤ Good night and stay warm. Be careful stay safe and enjoy your Hike. 🙏
Once you decompress you'll be able to thoroughly enjoy it. Maybe you should go back on the At in style. The leisure version. I see others do the same. And they have these great. Expressions and auroras.
That mile was R.I.D.I.C.U.L.O.U.S!!!!! Has anyone broken their neck yet? I laughed out loud at Smoke stuck between the 2 rocks, dangling his legs. You two are so cute!
Love the breaking news segments!! Smoke master is amazing caring for you and you are gem of a woman!! Might need to change the trail names to Mountain Goat 1&2?? That shirt has to be framed when you get home….
11.54 watching you try to get the forward momentum, I found myself grabbing on to my big, blue, beautiful recliner anxiously trying to get up there myself 😂❤🎉 ... onya!
Congratulations Maddie on making it through the hardest mile on the A T!!! You are in the home stretch! Rest at Shaw's hostel and then on into the 100 mile wilderness. You have done all the hardest parts and now it's just miles to go! You got this Ranger!!!! ❤🦵🦵🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Interesting video. Good realistic scenery with the rain and slippery rocks. You made it thru the notch, you should be fine from here on out as long as you limit your zeros to no more than 4 per week🙃
Hey Maddie! Got rocks?! That looked like fun! Just kidding! Wow, those little 'nooks' where you had to crawl through seemed like something you could get wedged in permanently! With Halloween coming up, someone should take a fake skeleton and an old canvas knapsack and wedge it into one of those crevices, just for a laugh! Or, maybe not! Hey, you and your lucky (torn) shirt made it! That was impressive! After that, the rest should be easy, right? Well, I'm glad to see you're making good progress...keep at it! Beautiful scenery. Also nice that the beavers helped you keep your feet dry! Be safe, get some rest, and ENJOY! ps- Great episode! Loved you interviewing the other hikers. Thank you...for taking us along!
Absolutely beautiful!! I've watched many people's footage and no one has come close to what you capture with your camera. I felt as if I was there, great job!! Thank you, thank you
Oof! That looked brutal and more than a little sketchy in places! I'm surprised that there aren't things like ladders and steps to help hikers through such a tough section as I could see things going badly wrong really fast in there. Glad you got through it safely!
I'm late to the show but loving it! i really would have liked to see more insight into you, smokes, and all your other friends diets though. i dont want the vids to end but i know its coming shortly now!
Awww thank you! I typically had oatmeal and coffee for breakfast, peanut butter, tuna, or pepperoni on a tortilla for lunch, things like dried fruit, honey buns, or cliff bars for a snack, and knorr sides for dinner. If you go to my “Shorts” I filmed a few “What I Eat in a Day”s that might be interesting to you
I think I turned blue from holding my breath. You’re a superhero, Maddie!
I’m absolutely not worried about you finishing this. I’m not worried about Smoke. I even think the kettle will make it. BUT. I’m seriously worried about the shirt.
😂
I think that shirt is bringing her good luck!
Yeah, we’re all cheering on that shirt by now. I think it’s awesome how you won’t get rid of it. Sentimental value, such an old soul. Good luck
That is hilarious!
Gotta love the shirt at this point right?
You can do it shirt!!!!;)
That was hilarious when Smoke was running on air. Yikes that was tricky trail.
Girl, you have a wonderful narrator voice. There has to be a future for you using that talent.
"THAT WAS EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT!" 😂

Power on girl 💪💪💪✌
