the only thing l'll add is that the nose gets slightly bigger as we age, so the nose should have been smaller, and there should be more padding of fat in the eye lid, reducing how pronounced the eye lid crease should be.

I heard they were the ears that get bigger as some sort of ''optical effect''. Face has certain limits to keep our features in and when you are an adult your head/face stops growing (skull bones fuse and get hard) so it can look longer due to cartilage, but it's not
a exaggerated difference. It's not like a natural small nose would turn into a toucan peak.
