- The Overrated Anglers Thailand. Leks lake Udon, mixed fortunes over the lively two day trip. We are back at Leks fishing park in Udon this time with John Gregory AKA JG Banklife, Dennis from Chaiyaphum Monster Fishing Park & Resort and Ron Clausnitzer from Nitzer Cafe & Arapaima Fish Park. This is the first part of a 4 day trip to Leks and Teak Tree lake in Chiang Mai. Mixed fortunes for all anglers over the four days interrupted some interesting nights out!! Some cracking fish landed including first of the species and PB's along the way. Hope you enjoy the video and check out some of the others we have made over the past three years.

Great trip with some amazing guys
Good stuff lads. That pool swim is solid, I struggled there myself. Only person I know to do well on it is Klaus, he smashes it. I bagged up on Julian’s on the second swim you fished, far more productive 😊

Nice one John. That’s the most relaxing place to fish I have seen. A bed only few metres from the rods. Was lol at several fish who didn’t want to be calm for a photo and kept swimming in the air. Some power and fair play to holding on 😁. An African Arapaima. Nice one. Quite rare are they?
Thanks Paul. Yes Leks is a brilliant lake to fish & like you say, very comfortable. Yes the African Arrowana are very rare & super good looking too. Hope you trip to Thailand is going great. Cheers
Buddy the fishing here is just “yes please”. Up to 7 species. Jersey tackle shop owner was at Leks last week. Became the first person to land 4 different Arowanas in one day. 24 fish and 14 species he had.
On way to Greenfield Valley tomorrow. Watched your video of it a few times. Place looks good to me.
Last fished Leks before covid. planning to go back. Still got the Appleby horses there? Had somee good fish and hooked tarpon a few times but yet to land one. 2 weeks to palm tree
