@@Lopfff from my experience learn the guitar part to where you dont think about the chord changes to the point where you can even have a conversation while playing once you reach that level you can begin to sing it since youll only need to think about the lyrics thats at least how i do it and im not good at either
Calling them riffs isn’t wrong, but I find Johnny’s parts to be like miniature orchestrations in a way many straight ahead rock riffs aren’t. So much character and nuance without being typical lead lines.
Thanks a lot Nathan! I used to have some on here and I deleted them! There's a live cover of Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love on here where I play electric. Bit tricky where I live to play it out loud though
Dudes got a unique niche. We enjoy his covers as much as the originals! Not many can do that. He does the Smiths justice. Makes both them and him awesome.
I've NEVER "met" another guitar player who understood how cutting-edge these riffs were. Not only that, but how the melodies fit in. And NOT ONLY THAT!!! ... but how to play and sing them at the same time. Fuck. Yes.
Wow!!. Best cover I have heard of this great song. Effortlessly hitting all those Marr riffs timing and voice to match. Great talent Adam. More please.
one of your Smiths covers popped up in my recommended. I've watched all of your Smiths vids, they are incredible. Nice job mate you've got a new sub to say the least. I think Heaven Knows I'm Miserable is my favourite of yours so far, they are all class
You are one of the most impressive guitarist cover yt channels ever. The fluidity, clarity and speed of the complex rhythm alone is so hard to achieve. Let alone doing it while singing so well and somehow including the lead guitar part as you strum rhythm. wow.
i know its been 4 yrs and i doubt ull see this but i love this! this is inspirational to me because i wanna learn how to play the elec guitar and this is so awesome! idk how u sang over this, id be struggling just to play. u have immense talent so dont waste it!! im subbed now!
Another gem! I sang the falsetto "now I know how Joan of Arc felt" right along with you. I dig hearing you perform these very songs you choose. this is a classy affair. cheers to you.
You’re awesome Adam, love to see how much passion you have for playing these songs, it’s good to feel through sound. Keep it going, love the smiths forever!
I was re watching Russian skateboard video "Imagination" from 2005. There was this song playing and wanted to find some covers. This blew my mind. So inspirational and insanely well executed. Bravo!
Fantastic! What I love about your videos of Smiths songs is your annunciation makes me realize that I’ve been singing it wrong for so many years! 😂 I love it man keep it up!
This is an excellent cover of an already great song! Your voice is phenomenal and fits nicely, and the guitar playing is clearly well-practiced and thus quite skillful
Thx again for recoring and posting, you really are great! So cool to see and hear you playing and enjoying the great Smiths songs. I really don’t get the fact people posting thumbs down instead of encouraging you to post more of these great video’s.
It is astonishing coming up to almost 40 years now from 83 and The Smiths are personally. Politically and Emotionally more relivent than ever. Viva Morrissey
Wow- respect. This is so tricky to get the speed and fluidity of the strumming alone, never mind adding the singing!
Agree!
Someone sign him up
I cannot sing in the SAME RHYTHM as the guitar, let alone sing in a different rhythm from the guitar. How do people learn to do this?

@@Darknesses10 Thank you. That’s exactly the kind of insight I need on that struggle
Johnny Marr created just the greatest riffs, both melodically and rhythmically awesome.
Yes he did.
Calling them riffs isn’t wrong, but I find Johnny’s parts to be like miniature orchestrations in a way many straight ahead rock riffs aren’t. So much character and nuance without being typical lead lines.
a guitar genius
Amen.
Unbelievable sense of melody
Bro thought he could make the most majestic cover of the smiths and thought we wouldn't notice
Right hand strikes again... get that hand insured.
Exactly what I thought..a strumming boss.
You should listen rumba guitarists... Their right hand flies and make the drums at the same time
For the 28 fools who gave this a thumb down, please post your brilliant cover links so we can hear your brilliance.
You are a very good acoustic guitar player my friend I'd like to see you on an electric in a video one day
Thanks a lot Nathan! I used to have some on here and I deleted them! There's a live cover of Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love on here where I play electric. Bit tricky where I live to play it out loud though

I can actually understand the lyrics now!

It's so easy to understand them in the original are you deaf

Fantastic job! You've got that strumming pattern down pat, which isn't easy to maintain to 2.5 minutes. Johnny Marr would be impressed!
Just what I needed this evening. Thank you for sharing your talent.
