i have about 70 copic markers, but you will have never have enough. Its a pitty the ciao dont come with the numbers on the caps. I will try stylefile markers soon and see how they compare to copics.
What paper do you use here? 😊 I made my own sketchbook from a fabriano block of 120 grams, but I feel like it may absorb too much ink? I used to sketch with my copics in a randomn notebook of aprox 90 grams. Which one do you think is better?
sofiavalentina This is the Strathmore Visual Journal bristol. Watercolor/ rougher surface paper tends to, like you said, absorb too much ink so your markers dry out fast and blending gets difficult.
I started my Copic collection around fall of 2015. What I would do was buy Copic marker lots on ebay. People would buy the sets and end up with duplicate markers or colors they didn't like and then sell off the markers in bunches. My first purchase was like 16 markers for 36 bucks.
weirdchick216 That's a good deal, 16 for $36. I can't remember if I mentioned that in the video, but yea I would stay away from sets. Just get the ones you need and will use is a lot better then getting duplicates and colors you'll never use. I'm sure your collection has grown over the past couple years!

oli mueller I feel the same. Can never have enough. I was thinking about comparing the ShinHan Touch markers to them also.
I buy my Sketchs in Japan or Thailand for 3 dollars each, sometimes a bit cheaper but yeah. Only buy in bundles though.
