    👍nice video, my last trip to japan we rode that same ferry and did the Shimanami Kaido. we stayed at the Green Hill hotel and rented a bicycle at the Onomichi Port Bicycle Terminal. We rode to the second Island, Innoshima and hiked up Mt. Shirataki ⛰⛩. got lucky because it was a clear day and the view from the top spectacular 😁

    We have short distance ferries here in the states. Its Japan's long distance ferries that interest me. But to take a short trip for those twisted breads (donuts?) is worth it.

    deep fried bread with sugar, we have that here too. we call that pilipit. available everywhere there are bakeries.

    ちなみに今度尾道に行かれたらぜひ尾道市立美術館に行ってみて下さい。警備員さんと日夜戦いを繰り広げる黒猫のケンちゃんが見られるやもしれません。美術館のツイッターには毎日登場するので猫好きならフォローをお薦めします。警備員さんは常設のみの時にはいらっしゃらないので期間展示を開催中の朝に、ぜひ。飼い主さんの喫茶店だけでなく美術館でも看板猫になるなんてケンちゃん只者ではありません。過去の攻防はいろんな動画が上がっているのでそれを探すだけでも楽しいです。つやっつやの毛並みに癒やされて下さい😊
