I tested Boucheron just yesterday - what a stunner!

To this beautiful list I added Violet Blonde and a recent love Athalia from Parfums de Marly that I got a dupe. It's addictive! A powdery musky with iris and violet. Somehow to my nose has a smoky aquatic feel. It looks nonesense but it is beautiful. Unique! My Loulou is also for me a gothic romantic one. Big hug my love ❤
When I think of Gothic perfumes, I think frankincense, myrrh, papyrus, a deep and heavy floral, like tuberose, but carnation too. Cinnamon and clove can lean gothic with the right blend, especially with vetiver and spikenard. Deep musks evoke a gothic vibe for me too. Anything that makes me want to get closer, but have a shiver run up my spine at the thought.
Finally purchasing Fleurs d'Oranger! I know it may seem weird, but I think it took my love of the cumin note in Un Bel Amour D'ete from Parfum d'Empire (one I think you'd adore) to spark a love for this favorite Serge of yours. So happy to add it to my collection!! :)

Oh, I wish the liquid of 1000 Kisses worked how I wanted it to on me. The original solid in the tube was delightful. My bottle is the old style one, and I keep it around for sniffing. My romantic Gothic mood scents tend to have a lot of tuberose and jasmine, or they have incense and melancholy. (Melancholy's not really a note, I know!) Tokyo Milk Dark La Vie La Mort (my favorite affordable gothic scent) is one of my favorites. I call it my Morticia Addams scent. It's how I imagine her conservatory would smell! (The listed notes are White tuberose, cardamom, hibiscus leaf, and jasmine, and the florals are the most prominent parts of it on me.) L'Artisan Dzongkha, which gets so many complements, is my melancholy one, with its curious mix of spices, flowers, and leather. Then we have my Soviet-era bottle of Krasnaya Moskva, which is heavy on carnation and rose in a dark way. (And you've describe some in here that are getting added to my "try it" list, as always.) More importantly, your lipstick here is to die for.

I need all of the Plumeria fragrances I can find 😂😂 8 Romantic Gothic scents for me - Gris Dior (black & red roses wilting in the rain), Midnight Poison (unabashed passion in the shadows), Amor Amor (sweet nightmares of a vampire - gothic romance), Musc Noir Rose (an oil painting depicting a vampiress smothered in red fruits… or blood 🩸 who knows?!?! 😅), Noir de Noir (I have to agree with the idea of a graveyard romance), Dior Homme Parfum/Givenchy Gentleman reserve Privee (these two are similar - the scent of vampire skin up close, as the vampire undresses) and Portrait of a Lady (the idea of vampire empires, lovers sprawled across torn, mauve-coloured velvet chaise longues)
Love all your gothic vibes and suggestions ❤. I always imagine vampires lure in their victims with wholesome, innocent smelling scents to trap them into complacency 😂. Wish I had a real life scenario for such fragrances.
I loved Fairy Dust. It really pleasantly surprised me. I bought it for myself a few years ago. I wore it during the winter here in Canada. I haven't tried any of the others mentioned.
