- Sarajevo olympics in Yugoslavia, (Bosnia and Herzegovina now) were as I found the most profitable Winter Olympic Games for that time due to selling the TV-Rights. So the Yugoslav government stayed in profit even though it was collecting money from the people through so called "voluntary" Olympic Tax to get the money. It was also one of the coldest Olympics. I visited some remains of it such as bobsleigh track.
City who held 1984 Olympic games. Few year later in the same city ,~1600 child was killed. Absolute madness.
Must admit that Sarajevo looks beautiful from above!
Thanks for showing us the Olympic area that mother nature is taking back.😃
I remember those Olympics I watched it from Los Angeles California back in 1984!
Beautiful thanks for taking us back to the sight of the Olympics.
Surgey you’re a nice caring man. You help senior citizens and young boys and his lemon 🍋 aide stand.
im impressed by how much you know about my country
Bosnia is beautiful. With all those pine trees, it reminds me of parts of the American West, but we don’t have those cute houses with the red tile roofs.
Oh what fun you’re having Surgey. I will never visit other countries, but it through people like you and creators.
13:33 I love the spirit of the little boy ❤ I suppose he will become a great businessman 👨💼 someday
At first I was worried Sergey would get lost and starve in that abandoned overgrown Olympic site, but then i saw the little lizard and knew he would never go hungry.
You should stay and live in Sarajevo, don't go back Bosnia is a beautiful country where it is not found anywhere otherwise, enjoy my homeland.
Good videos Men!!
Thanks! For nature lemonade Sergey🍋 😊
SALAMAT PO! 🍋
That kid is looking to his future not playing games!
When it was in function, after Olympics, there was this sponge thing like a bob, that can admit to 8 people. They called it "Vučko" (like a mascot of the games). It's one of my dearest childhood memories, riding it down the bob track. It was slow, but enough fast. Btw, I think that the steep start was for sled, not bob.
I see you took my advice and bought the Sony camera! You’re videos are a lot cleaner and makes you feel like you’re there! Don
Well, I used it just in the beginning though :))
@@CrazyRussianSergey what is wrong with it my comrades?
You be safe there, you’re friends Don
Beautiful from up high.
I''ve got a clear plastic cup like his. I use it to fill bird-feeders with seed. Found it in the street & recycled! I'm a Good Boy!
Kid is sooo kute 😊
Did you not pay for a round trip? When she asked “ back “ she must have meant go up and back? Too late now if it was both ways😂, you had some good exercise and met a lovely young man in the forest, he’s doing very well for himself. 👍🏼
Enjoy your trip👍🏼🥰🙋🏼♀️
Haha Jilli! I bought two ways actually! The bobslei truck starts upstairs and then go down so I had to climb back a little to the cable car. I better walk down even if it’s long way but not upstairs
It’s been 109 degrees just north of Los Angeles California today July 5 2024 Sergi very hot here! Don
That's 9° beyond the temperature when water boiled at sea level, oh boy!
Sarajevo is such a beautiful and open minded city. I should consider going there for a trip myself.
Still wondering what happened to the twin high raising towers with the unusual roofs which were constantly targeted by the Serbs in the 1990i’s war. No trace of them to be seen of them or I missed it.
The twins got renovated early after the war, thanks for foreign investments, and are completely restored. The unusual structures on the top were actually part of an automatic fire extinguishing system with large water tanks on the roofs.
@@heyyo162 I see, thank you for the info. 🙂 I always wondered what they are.
Momo and Uzeir... they are alive, renovated and well :)
My Russian friend do the research and I mean RESEARCH and you will find out that you (Russians) are originally from Bosnia territory like Irish and many more cause of huge migration due to wars etc only the bravest remained here❤️
Soasiba draga Hasiba thanks for video 🖐
You are der beste Mann 💪
Danke schon!

@MausTheGerman I know how it’s pronounced actually hah. But don’t have German alphabet on phone. Ok. Now I will know the German Ö sounds like Russian Ё. They both have these two spots above

Sergey getting a bit salty there!

In the Vancouver 2010 Olympics we Canadians completely _defeated_ the Americans in hockey!
In Salty Fake City, Tre Kronor crushed the Oh, Canada guys, and then went out against Belarus 😮
So it goes...
@@beorlingo Yea but in 2010 we won the whole thing with a home team advantage, when the entire Olympics was held in there! We Canadians have no quarrel with the Swedes, Ingmar Bergman, etc. The Americans though... we waged war against them!
@@chhhhhris yeah, Ingmar Bergman was one of the first to cross the pond, first playing with the Red Wings, and then as you probably know joined Winnipeg Jets in the WHA. Dude, you sure know Hockey!

@@chhhhhris oh, sorry, thought you said Thommie Bergman.
I bet DariStep recommended you to visit Bosnia? I bet it was on her insisting that you decided to come.
I think this is the cutest place you've ever filmed! The kid making lemonade in the woods was the best part 😂
Agreeing about their gardens, but at least with the full fences, your neighbors can't see you peeing in your yard. I dont know if Russians do that like we do here. But i would want the ugly fences for that reason if I had neighbors so close.
Do you have time to film a cemetery there? I took a stroll through a Romanian cemetery once with Google maps. It was surprisingly cute. I wasn't searching for cemeteries there. Just using Google streetview to explore a village and somehow it let me into a cemetery.
Push likes.
Hi Paulie. Haha. I didn’t do it in the garden since the toilet is aswailable in the house, but somewhere in the open area I did in the village. It’s natural. Even from the boat in the middle of the lake. About the cemeteries btw I have one vid from Russian cemetery. But here I don’t know if it’s common here to do it. Need to learn local rules
@CrazyRussianSergey Thanks! Don't get yourself in trouble in a cemetery just because I'm weird!
If someone has a small yard then there's no reason to not just go inside for a WC but if people here got a few acres then ain't no extra time for walking back to the house. I see people peeing outside all the time when I'm driving around my community. They try to hide a little bit behind a tree or truck, though. I know what they're really doing.
@@PaulieBonyenne now I know the secrets of America. Thanks Paulie, haha!
@@CrazyRussianSergey It's not a secret! It's also a practical trick to keep groundhogs away.
👍 Sergey!
Hi from Florida. Nice boy. winter Olympics,?
Winter Olympics in a kinda Muslim place, whaddaya know!

18:04 that lizard is called a Skink. It is on every continent in the world and 1000s of species. Ours have blue tails and some are yellow and blue on the tail along with gold and brown ones. There are three or four species in my state.
Yes. In childhood I used to catch them. But now I’m afraid 😅
@@CrazyRussianSergeyWe have a few in Cincinnati.
These are all typical roofs and houses in the Balkans. Nothing special really. But that view of Sarajevo in the end of the video was amazing.
Hello Sergey
Of course there are more words for "polako"
but these words are often slang words and/or you need to know the grammar to use them correctly.
Some word that you can use is
"opušteno" it means relaxed.
"Samo opušteno" Only relaxed.
Or use both words together
"polako opušteno"
Have a good time!
Sounds like Russian ofigenno! Also the slang word!
People used to go to Yugoslavia and leave their denim jeans there for people. They loved Levi's!
Another word for POLAKO is LAGANINI 😊😊
push likesssssssssssss
Polako-lagano-lakapo
It’s very empty there.
I don’t remember the trees back then during the Olympics. Can someone confirm this?
Ohh, interesting! Probably grew up after it got abandoned
Capitalist cabin 😅😅😅😅
People also loved Tito in Croatia... he was a very popular leader
Visit Banja Luka. Its about 180km. Yo have Russian chyrc in Banja Luka.
There is an orthodox church in Sarajevo as well.

The Croissants originated in Vienna but the idea comes from the Ottomans siege of Vienna back in the 1600s because the ottomans used the crescent on their military flags back in the day

Luv that kid selling lemonade!
Hey Sergey, your stamina reminds me of my own. Greetings from a boomer 60 years of age!
Ride on, Sergey!
Suva is that thank you?
Sergi I heard you shouldn’t walk off the slide! You walk in the Forrest you can steep on o bomb in the woods! They have mine fields around the tobagan!
I’ve heard about the mines. However, I guess these tourist attractions are cleared out of them.
BTW i don't know why are you so fascinated with red roofs. Whole Yugoslavia had it and sucessor "states" also... Brickworks were very common thing.
Probably because it’s not a thing in Russia. People get fascinated by things they don’t normally witness.
Did you going in Croatia?
Maybe they are ghost speaking.
Bosnian diest is 8 liters if coffe and 2 packs of cigarettes everyday. Tgats why people are skinny
Anotrher word of "polako" would be "lagano"
Ohh cool! I've heard there is even another word! How many polakos are there? =))
@@CrazyRussianSergey in today's slang you could use even the word: "opušteno"
No matter if it means: "relax"
@@zoranpavlovski1352 yeah, I’ve heard also in Bosnia they use some other word as well starting from M I think, but I forgot where I found it. But I see now there are many forms of POLAKOS!
Can be "Polahko" and "Laganice",right ?
@@Bosniak803 Never heard of : "Polahko".
But "lagano " and "laganica" u could use, I think.
I wonder what Australian Slinger will do on the Russian borders?

Go to East Sarajevo and Jahorina mountain! That is Republic of Srpska.
Rebublika Srpska is neither a republic nor serbian. The land beneith you is state property that you cannot sell. The rivers, forests and mines are state property that you cannot exploit without the permission of the state of Bosnia. And your passports doesnt mention any republika srpska. Its just an administrative entity within Bosnia.

@@dragandespic8877 Where? a place called "google". check out the latest news feed about RS's attempts to sell state forest property in Jahorina. Total failure. Why? Because entities cannot sell state property. Same as Ukraine, Bosnia was a communist project. Before that there was Kingdom of Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia, so Bosnia, Montenegro and Macedonia were actually part of Serbia and are modern constructs actually.
Lol now silly. Bosnia is medieval kingdom, Ottoman province, Imperial province and communist repubic. It has more state, teritorial and border continuity then Serbia. Bosna was never part of Serbia, huge parts of Serbia where Bosnia.
@@mujesiraatlagic7594 Yea, made up history is essential part of modern countries like Bosnia, Albania, Ukraine. Did you know that ancient Ukrainians dig up Black Sea with the showels? It's in their history books. Also ancient Greeks are Albanians according to that small "nation":
Bosnia and Herzegovina was invented by communist scientists in a lab in 1940s (trust me, I was there)

13:59 very cute encounter! They have Mark? We had this before the shitty Euro. When Bosnia joins EU he becomes capitalist Mänätscher 🫡😅
Yeah, and after they join, you Germans prepare to invest lots of money as the head EU country 😅! Yeah. They have so called converted mark which is connected to Euro. So it’s about 1€=1 Bosnian mark rate
@@CrazyRussianSergey amazing 🤩 I need to visit
The Bosnian "Konvertabilna Marka" IS the Deutsche Mark like straight up... it's fixed to the EURO because the DM was fixed to the Euro when it was withdrawn. It actually TERRIBLE for Bosnia, the state can not devalue it's own currency to stimulate exports or encourage tourism. It makes everything made in Bosnia far more expensive than it should be, which favors imports. It's straight up colonialism...
