The way it was explaining to me it was like owning the original Mona Lisa versus owning a copy. The original is priceless but you can purchase countless copies of the Mona Lisa for next to nothing. The problem is that art is highly subjective and like anything else, it's only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. I can purchase a pencil for a dollar and then tell people that the pencil is worth 25 billion dollars but obviously nobody would pay that much for a pencil so it's not actually worth 25 billion. That's the whole problem with NFTs, people are trying to convince gullible people that their jpeg is worth tens of thousands of dollars when in reality it's worthless because absolutely nobody cares about NFTs.
Seems extremely stupid to me. Basically collector items that can be copied but there is a problem with collector items. U don't buy them to try and resell them because you have to wait for someone who really wants it. The person who owns the NFT of the first ever tweet. Does anyone give a shit but him that he owns it? The first ever tweet oooh so worth an exorbitant amount of money for something worthless to the rest of world and then think you can resell it? Come on that's wacko.
Completely agree with you! It's literally selling an air and telling everyone that it's special and made with God's breathe or smth😂 Still trying to figure this out but all in vain

NFTs are like cigarettes. Don’t do it.
media keeps writing about people making a fortune on nft on eth but no one's buying my nft at all. Looks like wash trading! Please investigate
This video made no points as to why a person should spend money on NFTs. NFTs are the digital equivalent to investing in beanie babies in the 1990s
