This is an example of overly supportive and generous parents. If you would tell your friend they weren't being smart with their choice you owe it to your kids to give them the same advice. Don't bankroll your kid's hedonistic lifestyle, folks. You aren't doing them any favors.
Yeah, don't feel sorry for the parents, they created that monster. We let our daughter stay with us for a couple of years after college but at least she had a job. She is out on her own now.
Babyyyyyyyy she is not having none of it She is with the Foolishness and pettiness i love the mom😅😅Well Damnnnnnnn Mark that truly didn't end well for y'all 😂😂
My cousin co-owned a high end machine shop. Did sub contract work for GE for space shuttle parts. CNC equipment everywhere. This was probably about 25 years ago. He had a son. Son is a slacker. Son gets married. Son has a kid. My cousin hires them both. The DIL works the office and starts telling everyone "This is going to be ours someday". Except for the fact my cousin only owned 50%. He ended up firing his kid and DIL. The kid ended up working in a warehouse for a grocery wholesaler. Huge company, does about 30 billion a year. The warehouse workers WORK. Back then when I got the local newspaper, they'd have the police, fire and ambulance log. The city could have saved money if they parked an ambulance in the warehouse parking lot. Dangerous work. You made money the faster you could load a semi. My cousin sold out to his partner and moved to Las Vegas when he retired.
Those doctors need to be fired. She’s not just “in love.” She’s clearly gone off the deep end, reading signals where there aren’t any, threatening to kill her sister if she gets in the way, impulsive decisions, explosive anger…Now that I mention it I’d probably have those doctors checked if that’s what they think being “in love” means.
There were a couple times during the conversations where someone replied to something someone hadn't said or make comments that didn't fit with the conversation they were having... I'm not sure if that's an issue with scripting or with editing but it was a little jarring. I did like the story though!
Funny how DIL thought she and Mark could simply sue the parents. Sue for what? The company? Yeah right no judge is going to force his parents to just hand it over without proof that they are both incompetent to be able to run it. Sue for his inheritance? Well he's not legally owed it until the parents die without something in writing somewhere saying they are going to give him the money. So they are free to sue the parents all they want. The only thing they will walk away with is lawyer and court fees.
Is there a rodeo where the announcer says, "Push your daughter-in-law forward"? If so, maybe Marina, Mark and the latter's parents should go there. LOL
DILs need to learn manners when they talk to their husband's mother. I get that girls nowadays are cautious and looking out for their well being especially when they get married but disrespecting your husband's parents for no reason is plainly rude. And parents need to bring up their son's well and teach them about how some girls are, how some of them are spoiled brats, cheaters and gold diggers. When sons become grown mans they must be wise and be careful with what kind of girls they choose.
Well, not sure about that, "can" was used several times where "can't" was clearly meant plus there were times a reply to "something" was missing the "something" so it made little sense. Unusually in this story the parents esp the mother seem equally as bad as the couple getting married despite clearly its written as if only the couple are at fault. Raised a spoiled son, didn't have him working at all, seemingly just gave him unlimited amounts to spend, gave him no expectations of what was expected from him, told him he couldn't get married as if they had that power didn't tell him what the bride has said to the mother. They deserve each other if they exist at all.
There's always the ridiculous inheritance; people should build their own fortunes and let inheritances be only a possible cherry on the sundae. That son and DIL should be left to be hit by the consequences of their choices and those based parents are right to be skeptical. It would be a nice change of pace to have the fools turn over a new leaf; how about stranding them on a deserted island and forcing them to have to work together to survive? In addition, weddings are money down the drain, easier to just elope.
I typically do not blame parents for their adult children's stupid behavior. But, Mark was an entitled spoiled brat because his parents let him be that way.
Hmmpf, neither of our parents paid for our wedding, I doubt I'll ever get an inheritance...and you can be "honest" without being a raging bully about it, have some tact, damn....and lol, son is totally cnutstruck, parents REALLY should have nipped his behaviour in the bud when he was a teenager, kinda their fault too
My father and stepmother paid for my second marriage. Actually, my stepmother took over everything and I just went along. She made my wedding dress, and I insisted that it be simple and picked out the pattern. The wedding was performed in my parents’ living room, and the reception was at the church I attended. I think the cake was the only expensive thing there.
If I didn't know better I would swear my sister was doing the Mom's voice. I really miss you Sis. 😢

$500,000 is too much 💰 money for a wedding.
Good evening from London Ontario Canada
Wait, he's barred from ENTIRE COUNTRIES (Spain and Greece)? Can you imagine what he must have done?
Probably drugs.

Yeah, that 1st conversation between the 2 of them. They know full well what a loser they raised.
Amen!

Yes there is something you can do, you can say No. You should have been saying it since he was a toddler.
This son get what he deserve for letting his fiancée miss treat his parents and the sad thing is his soon to be bride is a gold digger 😂😂😂
Love that Mark sounds like he is texting through his mask.
If you are grown enough to get married you are grown enough to afford your own household without your parents help
Awesome ending

Once you get married there is no living in my household point

So all Mark was doing is lying in Marina was a gold digger what a perfect couple
He likely believed everthing he was saying about running the company. Delusion is strong in some people.
Wow, the DIL forgot weddings are about the union of both families not just the bride. 😅
Good story

Good story, no foul language 😊
Thanks. Have a good morning
"give the company", no let someone run the company = ceo, the owners do not have to give anything.
These parents created a monster and nurtured it to a adult and then turns it loose on society. Good job mom and dad NOT !!!

What's the most unrealistic part about these stories?
The lack of spelling mistakes in the messages x)
😂

Yesssssss
A company that big should be incorporated, no heirs to consider.
Ahh, the age old tale of parents that spoiled their kid rotten and now they can’t understand why the kid is such a deadbeat. 😂😂😂
Wow, I really want to know what Mark did in Greece and Spain!
I typically do not blame parents for their adult children's stupid behavior. But, Mark was an entitled spoiled brat because his parents let him be that way.
Yes it's the parents fault. Ffs,thier son was getting booted out of countries and parents kept throwing money to cover his deplorable behavior
Definitely don't feel sorry for these crappy parents
Seem odd to be hearing one of these story from the other side.

They failed as parents from day 1
