I think if you replaced insidious with ruin, then you could actually make it impossible to do gens and turn it into a hostage build. They're even more viable than they used to be, now that the maximum match length is 1 hour. With the current build I think you need to go and find some survivors to hit at the start of the match, *then* camp box. That's the whole point of using the pink addon is that it lets the box stay at least somewhat safe when you're not around. Your goal is to have every survivor injured by the start of chain hunt. Once you have face the darkness active, you also can tell where all but 1 of the survivors are, so you can tell if they aren't coming. However, watching his video, survivors seemed scared to pick up the box while being chased, so I think the buiild loses value once they realize you have chatterer's tooth. Also it's so maddening how it feels like I'm the only person who understands how the new hex perk works

There was this one pinhead that was kinda doing this back when the demogorgon or whatever his name is, but his map before it got deleted from the game. He was using franklins since it would drop the box everytime a survivor picked it up and re-activate the timer on chain hunt then they’d down a survivor and take them by the box and chill until they died. Was a solid strategy at the time. I might even try this and just replace insidious with franklins and see how it goes.
That sounds like the best way to run this build. Insidious almost always seems like a trap to me. It's like he said, a good team will just do gens while you're standing still. Franklin's just keeps the box on the ground which is really the important part

I played a Knight who was getting Devour Hope tokens while face camping. He was just sitting there with his power activated and then he cancelled it once someone got the save. He probably sent his phantom far enough from the hook. They need to fix that, it's completely broken.
is that much different to dredge moving away with a remnant behind a hook waiting for save if anything it sounds like a more powerful bit there would be make your choice, particularly on scourge

The first match I played with this build survivors just force picked up the box and go down, when you down a survivor with box it's gone and you can do nothing about that (maybe you change thrill with Franklin's), still won them because pinhed is op.
My chat has me try these builds because of RUclips and they almost never work. Top survivors literally do not play into anything outside of meta. People don't realize that RUclipsr's play dozens of matches to finally get one worth editing.
havent tried yet but if you switched thrill of the hunt with lullaby or ruin i could see holding the game hostage a lot more probable. but again it's more of a meme build not a competitive where it guarantees kills. with a good start i could see ruin or lullaby being a lot more annoying to combat bc they will scream too often too be able to cleanse totems and with lullaby they will fail checks and regress what little progress they do make.
a survivor could just force the box pickup after you hit them so you have to activate box and with chatters tooth it will reset the entire process for them
If you are going to do another youtuber/streamer's build.. You should have at least watch their vid on it instead of just half assing it.. That said your confusion on survivors DCing and how to you it makes no sense.. Come on dude.. I have seen survivors DC for all kinds of things and you have too. So not sure why you are questioning that part soo hard. Heck I get people DCing on me just because they where the first to get downed often. I normally do not criticize you that much ( if at all ) but this is one of those moments that I just had to. ( Personally I do not think its a great build either but still. )

Insidious is needed to make survivors scream with face the darkness since it only let's them scream outside of your terror radius.

It does work the way he does it if you watched how he plays it. You can still pressure occasionally and down but need to protect the box

The knights perk deactivates everytime you down the hexed survivor which is dumb and fully deactivates if it’s broken

You must do it on a closed map like the game who is very tiny and you can do some chases or injure them

Went against this build yesterday and we just slammed the gens and left while the killer stayed by the box.
