I've tested the Teburu system and I absolutely love it. The marriage of technology and board games continues to push the bounds of innovation in gaming. No one complains of having too many euros, and I certainly don't complain of having technology-driven games done well.
This game looks like fun but it looks like it has an identity crisis. Its not sure if its a video game or a board game. The thing is that every board game could theoretically be made digital. So it begs the question why get this? Only if the gameplay was a 5/5 would it be worth it to get. And i highly suspect it isnt a 5/5. I still am tempted to get it as i love technology and think this is still really cool. But theres a voice inside screaming gimmick.
I have it and really enjoy it. Makes it so you can just play a campaign without all the upkeep that comes with most campaign games. All the characters are very different so its very repayable
@@aarontaylor24 See, that's the selling point for me. The upkeep can be such a pain sometimes. I get people complain about how this should just be a video game, but when playing with friends, most games are online and not couch friendly ones. Also, I like to paint my minis so having a presence on the table instead of laying on the couch and looking at the screen does make a huge difference. I do have a question for you? What game could you compare this to. I want to get it, and debating on all in or just either get cthulhu or the zodiac
@@lastminuteplans hmm thats tough are you wanting as far as gameplay mechanics or just feeling of playing it. the mechanics of this game aren't difficult at all. but with each boss being a different puzzle and the app playing smart moves for the zodiacs it can feel like oathsworn. now there is no city exploration but the battle phase can be a really challenging boss battler especially when you go on the harder difficulties. or do the monthly challenges

I think the people who complain about technology in board games don't want any...
Sorry but im Playing boardgames to get away from technology and rest my eyes from the brighteness of the screens 🤓

App driven games are a waste
