Thank you!!! I wanted incense for my craft, but didn’t want to buy any. This is perfect because I have a lot of herbs, plus, when i make something, I feel like I have a stronger connection to it since I put time and my energy into it, so this is perfect for me!! 😊😊😊
Witchy Animation - I agree!! Thanks for watching! 💚

Thank you! I've been buying incense and to save money I want to make my own. I have all of the ingredients to make some, and thanks to your tutorial, I know how to make them.
mcjaegerful - if you’ve never burned herbal / natural incenses before, perhaps you should make a small test batch - there are some differences. Thanks for watching!💚
Thank you. I am a former smoker. I quit in 2008 after 32 years of smoking. I used to smoke Cigarettes, cigars and pipe. I miss the smell of pipe tobacco burning and I don't know any pipe smokers. I dont think pipe tobacco will burn on its own unless it is in a huge pile and that would produce too much smoke. The desire is to smell it not smoke it. I hope to make a pipe tobacco incense. This is where I start this journey.
Sigvar - pipe tobacco incense is such an awesome idea - go for it! You’ll find an abundance of tobacco essential oils online, if you need it. I’ve always wanted to try patchouli incense, but haven’t gotten around to it - hoping I will soon. Thanks for watching! 💚

Wow you can feel the peace you feel from working with herbs they work wonders in our lifes
They do! Thanks for watching! 💚
This is perfect. I find a coffee bean bullet grinder saves on the elbow grease and they are cheap enough to have one specially for incense making only. Sand from the beach which has been dried and sieved gives a fine base for the incense burners.
Barry Langley - great! Have fun creating. Thanks for watching!💚
Tks so much i am just arriving. I make cone as well so far only cinammon but u inspired m to use more herbs in the coffe grainder. Lov from Brazil th U!

@Mourya - thanks for watching!💚
I just got interested in incense and disliked the varieties available to me (mostly made in China) so this is just perfect! How often do you burn your incense? I would like to know whether the smell lingers or if it's just for a momentary pleasant aroma.
Aivscene Menytings - I burn incense when I’m in a quiet, meditative mood - mostly early evenings to early nights - anywhere from once a week to once a month - the cones burn for 5-7 mins and the smell doesn’t linger long - the sticks I make burn for over an hour and the smell does linger for more than a day. Thanks for watching! 💚
Hey Jennifer, just found your channel and wanted to ‘Thank You’ for this very helpful and so relaxing video ❤ Never heard of Makko powder. Is this a sort of binder too? Ta x
@Yoltzin07 - glad you found the video useful! Makko powder is from the bark of a tree and I use it bc it binds the ingredients well and it improves the burning of the incense. Thanks for watching!!💚
Brilliant using a piping tool and parchment ! This is gonna save me ao much time ..I got an extruder but it's too hard...and I got a mold but makes cones too wide so they won't burn
@Alisa Fraser - so glad you found the video useful! Thanks for watching!💚
Hello there... new subscriber here. Thank you for sharing this video. I also love herbs and INCENSES.
Maqueeh Diaz - thanks for the sub, and for watching!💚
Lovely video! I feel very inspired! Definitely going to make some. Question in you post notes you have essential oil as a optional add to making the cones. When in the process of making them do you add the essential oil? Thank you for taking the time to make this! 💕
RoyallyDivine - I said optional for the few drops of lavender essential oil because I had already included the ground lavender herb and wondered if the few drops would make a difference. You would add the essential oil just before the distilled water. Thanks so much for watching! 💚
I have to get me a coffee grinder love ❤️.love
L L - thanks for watching!💚
This video was so relaxing and informative! Thanks so much :)
Tanya S - Thanks for watching!💚
Thank you for sharing with us! I wanted to try making my own incense and appreciate you ❤️ Very helpful. Would you or have you tried using honey in place of water? Also do you find that using the copal or any other resin makes it smoker when it burns? Thank you again!
Nicole Ruiz - I’ve seen honey used as a binder instead of makko powder, but I’ve never tried it. I suggest you make a small test batch with the honey to find the correct ratio of herbs to honey - also, keep in mind that honey will take a longer time to dry. Regarding the smoking, I haven’t noticed any difference within the tree resins. Thanks for watching! Have fun making your incense! 💚
Which one of these incense burners would you reccomend? I have a similar one that constantly snuffs out my incense, but I love the beautiful shape of the smoke it initially creates!
Jacqueline Hide - the burners without a lid will burn the incenses without a problem, but the lidded ones are so much more stylish 😊. Try to get a good burn on the cones before you put the lid on. Thanks for watching! 💚
Great video. Thank you for sharing. 💕
Latitude Lanore - thanks for watching! 💚

Thank you!!!

Awesome! Can I make Sweetgrass incense, just by grinding the sweetgrass, adding the water and rolling it into cones or do I have to add something to keep it from going out when it's burned?
This is great! Thanks!
Blue Lightnin - you’ll def need a binder (finely ground tree bark or tree resin), but you could make a test batch and see how it burns. Thanks for watching! 💚
Thanks!
@melehamasaki I’m stunned and also very grateful for your generosity! Thank you for taking the time to express your appreciation this way!💚💚😊
This was lovely. Thank you
numenation- Thanks for watching!💚
Wow I Love you for this. ❤️🙏
seema Bhardwaj - thanks for watching! 💚
Thank you for this video! Just wanting to make sure of the measurement of sandalwood powder in your recipe. It says ''2 tsps sandalwood powder'', is that teaspoon or tablespoon? Thank you very much!
Yes, 2 teaspoons. This recipe makes a small amount of incense - if you want a larger recipe you should increase all the ingredients. Thanks for watching!💚
thank you so much you seem like a very nice lady
Jasper Lane - thanks for your kind words, and for watching! 💚
Oohhh.... These look so good 😊😊👍🙏
om incense show - Thanks for watching!💚
I love your channel. Namaste ❤️
Carrie Sketches - thanks for the kind words - you made my day! Thanks for watching! 💚
Thank you for this-- can you dry in a dehydrator for same results?
I’ve never dried them in a dehydrator, but you could test a few or a small batch to see if the “burn” is still good. Thanks for watching!💚
Very nice thank you💕💕💕
Lapis Mosi - thanks for watching! 💚
Thank you!! this is great. I am going to try this. Question what kind of salt and black powder do you use in the end when burning the cones?
Jeannie Resto - the black powder is sand (the sand protects the bottom of the burner from the heat), but you can use regular table salt or natural sand. Thank you for watching! 💚
Resin white copal همون کُندر؟
Thanks for this video! Do you know if makko powder can be substituted for sandalwood powder and what are the differences? Have a great day
@jakobneirinck - thanks for watching!💚 I don’t know bc I always use makko powder for a better burn. Try making a small batch without the makko powder and see they burn.
are you a green whitch? if so id love to learn more about your practice for i strive to be ome a green whitch myself
Dominica Windak - thanks for watching! 😊 Nope. I just love nature / botanical, and enjoy making / creating. 💚 But perhaps in another life I was ...? 😊
Much love for shared wisom Sister. Can I ask the one if using any form of metals (heat generating) blender cutlery and storage affects the effects of the burn? Namaste. (Heart) SUBSCRIBED!
Hi Nyah B - I don’t think blender or cutlery will affect the burn (most knives etc are stainless steel anyway- that’s good ) - however, if your burners are metal, put a little salt or sand in the bottom before lighting the incense just to avoid any effect from the burning metal. Re the storage, I prefer glass, wooden box, wax paper or cardboard to maintain the freshness and fragrance - I avoid plastic, regular paper and cloth. Thanks for subscribing! 💚
💖 🎁🌍love your vids because it's relaxing and fun and I love incense sticks cones and coils🙂🌿🌹
@Sean - thanks for watching!💚
What mixer us that? A coffee mixer? Love this video. 🙏
Fire Opal - it’s a coffee grinder. Thanks for watching!💚
Great video thank you💛💛
Thanks for watching! 💚
Very nice video.
THE REAL - thanks for watching! 💚
Can I use just cloves and cinnamon please answer ?
Ersiola Rebeshi - do you mean cloves and cinnamon without a binder? I’ve never made incense using only cloves & cinnamon - I’ve always used a binder (makko powder or similar) to hold the ingredients together and to help with the burn. But you could make a very small test batch to see if the incense falls apart after drying and to test the burn. Thanks for watching! 💚
Awesome video
Thanks for watching! 💚
Amazing!
Chris Pirolo - Thank you for watching! 💚
How do you ensure your incense has a strong scent? Especially with floral ingredients? Thank you so much for posting this video by the way, theres nothing better than home made things
Kiki Smith - thanks for asking. To ensure a good, strong strength:
1) I grind my own herbs, seeds, barks, roots, etc. - this doesn’t mean that already ground herbs are not good - far from that. There are ground herbs out there that are fresh and strong.
2) I can add essential oil (or fragrance oil) to the mixture - several of the recipes in the description box include essential oils.
@@NaturesDarling thank you!!!
hi Nature's Darling do you have a tutorial on how to make reverse cones Incense the one that you buy 99% of the time they don't smell good at all plus they burn fast Thank you in advance ....
@omega6810 - do you mean backflow cone candles? Thanks for watching!💚
Hello! I want to start making my own incense cones, and eventually move up to sticks. I was wondering, can we add in any type of resin? Some recipes have makko and resin. Is the resin for smell? Can i use any type of resin? Did you experiment with what scents would go together as incense? Thank you so much ^_^ .
Cecilia - yes, you can use the tree resin of your choice - some resins are more fragrant than others (e.g. frankincense resin is more fragrant than copal). Yes, I experimented with blending essential oils in incenses & handmade herbal soaps. Thanks for watching!💚
Thank you 💜
Thanks for watching! 💚
Hi. Very nice video that will help to all herbal lovers. Even me too. Can you post 100% pure , chemical free soap?
Sri Lalitha - Thanks for watching, and for taking the time to leave a comment! 💚Here’s one of my herbal soaps video: Bush Tea cold-processed soap / A Soaping Tribute to Plant-Lovers ruclips.net/video/ACyqieCyp8U/видео.html
What other type of grinder can I use? Thank you for your light!
Violet Ina - you could try a blender or mortar & pestle - then use a sieve to remove the chunky bits. Thanks for watching!💚
Cute vid
Krazyboytx - thanks for watching! 💚
Hello, I live in Brazil and here I do not find some products like makko powde and white copal resin. Is there anything similar that I can do replacing these products???
@arteira2000 - there are several suggestions in the comments. Also, read the info in the description box below the video. Thanks for watching!💚
