In fact the 335i (E9x) had the N55 Engine, the same one as in the M2 (F87). Of course a little bit modified in the M2. This one sounds good. The S55 is a more improved Version from M, especially made for the M3/M4 (F8x). This one doesn't sound that good. But it is much better if you hear the real engine and not only a RUclips-Video, because that doesn't do it justice. The B58, used in the 340i/440i (F3x) and also every other (M)x40i BMW, for example this one here, is the successor of the N55 and also sounds pretty decent. But as I already mentioned, if you want to judge about the sound, go to a BMW dealer and listen to it in real life. The M4 also sounds pretty nice to me there.

Spelaez P Hey, it's the mppsk, in the U.K we dont have the option of splitting the products, if you want the exhaust you have to have the power kit too.
@@jgree32 It depends how you drive it, if you rev over 4-5k you will get some VERY LOUD pops , but if you keep it civil it's got a nice low gurgle/burp. I LOVE IT
I got a ride in a 440i, but it was a convertible, and yeah, it does sound better than an M4
M4 better with right exhaust
XD
I feel like the 440i sounds much better than the M4.
Klemen Jereb probably because it does 😂
It's not feeling my friend, it's fact. The N58 is a much better sounding engine. I have no idea what the problem with the S55B30 is.

everyone is repeating that dummy comment on all bmw vids...its absurd lmao
Tu estupido?
Music to my ears, just got a G42 M240i and it sounds so so good way better than any video on the whole of RUclips!
Who could dislike this?
c250 owner
haha right
people that paid an extra 40k for an M4
Infiniti owners😂
Does the owner have more videos of this car? Sounds amazing
Unfortunately this cars has been sold.
dang it sounds waaaay better irl, but still sounds awesome in this video
How can I tune my car to make it sound like this? I have stage 2 + mhd with downpipe and b58tu hpfp
That moment... when a cheaper car sounds better than the flagship lol
LOL When I drive next to AMGs and BMW M's and I pop my exhaust- I legit can see their heart breaking in their face LMFAO
@@iamtrillahd M's sure but it doesnt sound better than AMG's lol
What’s the diameter of the exhaust tips ?
Is this with just the sound kit ? Or the m performance power kit and sound kit
probably the MPPSK kit (Performance and sound) that is atleast the most normal combination
Not MPPSK version, exhaust only.
B58 engine?
How it is 440i with old lights??
The 2017 model had older lights

starts in 2018 new taillights
Comparing to nearly every m240i video with that exhaust, the 440 sounds much better. Could this be because of the same engine (b58)?
is this the BMW M Performance Power and Sound Kit or the BMW M Performance Exhaust System?

Surprised I don't hear the crazy popping of some other videos. This sounds good. Other MPPSK vids popping was crazy

Personally think there's too much popping and crackling
Put it in comfort or eco mode- no problem ;)
Nice, but my S5 stock sounds better😮

This is 435i not 440i!
This is definitely an 440i
Large Automotive 440i have LCI ligths
The fist model of 440i wasn’t equipped LCI tail lights.
I also have a 440i with pre lci tail light I’m thinking of upgrading them
This is a 435i
Boooring sound .....
