2 months later and Brentilda's unbeatable record has been broken! Cube's run is nothing but deserved, insanely well played on a good but not great seed for the time he got!
Illumina using his massive brain to get the first sub 14 with no F3 and with some of the worst blind travel possible in a speedrunning environment that had widely accepted F3 as being necessary for WR is just insane, and probably my favorite moment in the story of Minecraft speedrunning (though I may be biased, as a long time Illumina enjoyer.) Illumina is, in my opinion, the best speedrunner to ever touch the game. You cannot discuss Minecraft speedrunning, in any version and nearly any category, without discussing Illumina, and that stands as a testament to his impact on the game.

I've wanted Summoning Salt to cover minecraft for a while, but I'm actually really happy that someone with so much experience is covering it, just like how Summoning Salt holds a WR or previous WR of some of the games he covers. Much love ❤️
