- In this Python Tutorial I am going to show how to install anaconda python on windows 10. It will install latest python version on your windows 10 . You can follow same steps for anaconda installation on windows 10 , windows 8 , windows 7 , windows 11.
Anaconda is a free and open source distribution of the Python and R programming languages for data science and machine learning related applications. It can be installed on Windows, Linux, and MacOS . Conda is an open source, cross-platform, package management system. Anaconda comes with so very nice tools like: JupyterLab, Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter Notebook, QtConsole, Spyder, Glueviz, Orange, Rstudio.

Thank you man! I couldn't get in it to work, apparently the prompt wasn't been installaed (I dont know why). I changed the directory on the installation as you did, and it worked!

Thank you very much! I have wasted a lot of time and installed/uninstalled the anaconda several times because the anaconda prompt was not installed. Apparently, either changing the directory or choosing 'all users' was necessary in my case.

No, it's works without internet
Which processor is best for Data science and machine learning i5 11th generation is sufficient
For actual data science & machine learning project personal laptop is not sufficient however you can write some code & execute it on your personal computer for training use

I tried installing packages..like conda install pandas bottleneck numexpr matplotlib...I got issue as post-link script failed for defaults::qt-5.9.7-vc14h73c81de_0 .chcp not recognized as an internal or external command..pls help me fix this issue..

Excuse me after I downloaded it why in my laptop on Jupyter doesn't have word Desktop so what shoud I do which one I need to choose please tell me
It's my desktop folder, you can go back & see all folder of your system, hope it helps

If you already have pycharm & not being used, please uninstall it as anaconda will have its own python version, I think 4gb should be fine work with anaconda

I think it should work as both will have different python version, I did not try with it, try it if does not work you can uninstall it

after installing when i try to start python navigater it show me
"application failed to start because it coukd not find or locate Qt paledorm plugin windows"
You have to set qt platform env variable in your system

I downloaded Andaconda 64 bit(My OS is 64 bit either)
And then I double-clicked the downloaded file
And then, a menu showing "How do u wanna open this file" and a lot of apps such as Adobe,Firefox poped up.
What should I do then?
Something wrong with download, please check it's exe file which will run by default

My anaconda prompt not open jupyter notebook it says copy the URL in browser but how can i copy the url in prompt?
In prompt, right on top bar, go to edit, click on mark, select text & again go back to mark & click copy, even from windows start menu you can open anaconda navigater which will have notebook, spyder

Ideally it should launch automatically & will not ask for password, you should use anaconda navigater

after launching jupyter notebook you told we need to select desktop..,but for me its not showing desktop option.
It's directory path for desktop & will save to my desktop, you can go to your desk from your c drive or even you can save to any other drive

even after completion of setup and finish 'Anaconda prompt" or navigator is not showing
In windows start manu, do you see anaconda navigator? You can use it to open spyder, notebook etc. If not please make sure you install anaconda for all users while installation we have option for it
@@Ritman85 No sir I am not able to see navigator I am using wiindows 8.1 , spark is showing perfect on prompt but anaconda after even installation its not showing prompt or navigator in windows search and conda.exe is like _conda.exe
@@viane123456 looks like you did not install for all user, please reinstall anaconda & make sure you checkbox install for all user, hope this will resolve the issue
