Some variegated plants looks spectacular!! I love the breeding of different types that make it easier for some people to be able to grow in their homes and appreciate! While the prices are initially high, we all know once they’re able to hit the TC scenes, it’ll be a matter of time they’re in Big Box stores and ready for the regular consumer. The name of the Channel is Only Plants, a play on words. Sean showcasing a wide variety of plants is simply amazing! Considering the time and cost to make it to the global markets and explaining which markets enjoy which plants is fun, as well. For those that don’t appreciate variegation, that’s ok, but let’s allow people to enjoy what they enjoy without judgement, as they’re not hurting anyone. What does hurt people is poaching of plants, especially endangered plants. The variegated plants help to offset that, it seems. I appreciate all the growers for their work, especially massive props to those that don’t chemically or whatever induce the mutations, but simply allow nature to do its thing
Wow, almost all stores have their inventories sold out on the first day! I'm also very happy to see people from Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia and Latin America are brought together by business and their hobbies. Yes, hoyas are very popular in China.
Dear author! thank you so much for your videos. It is very beautiful and allows you to learn a lot of interesting things about plants. How do you find out about all the exhibitions? Continue to delight us with your videos in the future.
Thank you. You can follow my instagram, I usually repost the plant show scheldules on my story. You can also follow the event organizers facebook page and instagram for updates on the next events
Thank you for this work! Absolutely love you commenting on "picking by the leaf and throwing them in the pile" 😂 she heard you, her face turned pale 😅😅 and hopefully she'll never againg be so disrespectful towards vendors work. I'm amazed, how you see the difference between VarMonsteras ? Sometimes i think, you just make up those names as you go 😂 but no, prices are so far apart. Looking forward to more videos, as they are interesting like reading the encyclopedia and addictive 😊
Excellent!! You never fail to deliver great content in your videos. It’s wonderful to see all these outstanding plants from die hard growers devoted to their passion and vision. Being into cacti and succulents myself it was good to see them along with tillandsias in the show… a nice bit of show diversification. I believe I actually saw a few plants I could afford 😂 As always a thank you for your dedication and hard work putting your videos together. Looking forward to your future videos!
I still don’t understand the anthurium craze they look the same to me, same with schindapsus. Monstera and philodendron yes, my latest buy is a gloriosum variegated Im so happy. Thank you for sharing this video Shaun, very much appreciated. ❤
Thank youu. Yes many of the new anthuriums are looking quite similar. It really is a niche of anthurium lovers that can differentiate them and collect; but they are so important for the ornamental plant market ❤️
Thank you for your video! Are there any restrictions on the export of plants in China? Is this exhibition only for the domestic market? Can foreigners buy there and take plants with them too?
wow, they're all beautiful. what will i do when i move to thailand in a few months. no way i can buy plants 'cause then at some point in time i'd have to do away with them. i would cry lol
Haha its perfectly ok to admire them from afar. I’ve learned to stroll through chatuchak plant market without buying anything. Its so nice to see passionate growers and what they brought.
A superb display of beautiful exotic plants, that Monstera Masterpiece and the Monstera Bulbasaur are a couple of beauties, but the Monstera Electrolyte is a gem, it's good that you continue with this type of really interesting videos, you are a genius at creating plant videos.
Variegation is big in asia. I think theres affinity for color as they symbolize many things in the asian culture. Countries like Thailand is also very bold and expressive with colors ❤️ this is why they are so love here
Wow, the monsteras and anthuriums on steroids this time...the new cultures and hybrids are so out of this world and the demand is growing indeed! Still waiting for caramel marble prices to drop 🤦🏻♀️
I dont sell plants, but a lot of these tours have the business names on them. You are welcome to find them on facebook or instagram based on the names.
your videos are always well edited but, sorry to say, they start to be all the same and showing the same plants, the same Monsteras, the same Philodendron and so on. 39 minutes of video to see maybe one of two hybrids never seen before and still in the variegated contents. I can't believe that a show that big has the same plants as seen hundreds times before. You seem to be a nice guy so I am really sorry to leave this comment, but have to be honest. Wish you all the best
No, I feel what you feel sometimes. With so many plant shows happening now its invariable to run into maybe 90% of the same plants. For me though its interesting to see the prices, how well they are grown, and how the market reacts to these plants. These trends change over time, so for me it is important to document it. There are also many audiences (perhaps from China) that are clicking into my video for the first time and are seeing these plants for the first time. I have to keep the new viewers in mind as well. I look forward to running into more interesting plants and do reporting of trends in different regions.
Kak tolong sampaikan ke kakak Arin kenapa dia tidak pernah upload vidio lagi.? Selain kak shaun kak Airin juga selalu aku tunggu vidio nya, kemana ya dia,.? 😢
Thanks for the breakdown! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
it's getting weirder and weirder when everyone is too obsessed with varigata plants, not all types of plants have to be made "varigata"... for me it's just an action that is solely oriented towards money... it's no longer the exotic value of a plant
It's not that weird. Variegated plant is one of the way to explore the beauty of the plant itself in the plant industry. When some of variegated plant meets the market and creates demand, it will lead to a large production. Every plant in plant industry is made to run a business so it's inevitably involves the money whether it's variegated or not. I just considered that obsession toward variegated plant is not harmful (even it can slow the demand of endangered plant species). You might think it's a weird obsession, but this industry is not made only for one preference. I also think not every plant is beautiful when it's variegated. For me variegated anthurium is unnecessary, but it's also unnecessary to say weird toward something out of my preferences
To breed for new and interesting varieties is human nature and instinct to create. Not everyone will find these beautiful - as beauty is highly subjective. Theres a number of you who prefer the green plants and thats wonderful too.
@harukeyaquatic824 I completely agree! I especially find it off-putting when the variegation looks chemically manipulated or when it restricts the plant from thriving and it ends up looking sickly mutated. It's refreshing to see your comment in the midst of the over priced variegation craze.
Always the same... Variegata, hoyas, Monstera... Boring. It was interesting some years ago for sure but now... I have lost all my collection of Philodendron this summer because of thrips. And any pest on my orchids. Now I grow only orchids...like I do for decades.

Thank you for your video! Are there any restrictions on the export of plants in China? Is this exhibition only for the domestic market? Can foreigners buy there and take plants with them too?
Exports from China is easy. As long as your country can import them, should be a walk in the park to bring them in.
6:58 The Dorstenias are beautiful.
Yeahh Im tempted to grow some 🤤
thanks so much again dad
❤️❤️
0:54 😂😂😂love it!❤

am from Zambia and am so in love with these plants how do i purchase them ......i sell plants and most of them have not yet seen them in my country
You can reach out to the businesses on the screen. I almost always leave their names. Usually they are on facebook or instagram.
How could i get to buy some of these flowers.I live in Jamaica.
I usually leave the booth/business name right above the plant name where possible. You can look these businesses up on facebook or instagram direcrly
A superb display of beautiful exotic plants, that Monstera Masterpiece and the Monstera Bulbasaur are a couple of beauties, but the Monstera Electrolyte is a gem, it's good that you continue with this type of really interesting videos, you are a genius at creating plant videos.

❤️❤️
I would go into soooo much debt if I walked into that building.
🙈🙈
Should we count how many times you say variegated in this video? Same old at these shows now a days.
Variegation is big in asia. I think theres affinity for color as they symbolize many things in the asian culture. Countries like Thailand is also very bold and expressive with colors ❤️ this is why they are so love here

If Chinese started buying in large numbers than i believe the price gonna be sky rocketing 😢
a lot of them are also breeders. they will reproduce most of these soon.
I think thats why prices are higher now! But its a temporary phenomenon
It's already happening.

The orchid market is actually HUGE.
It exists. But I do prefer normal plants...
