yeah. I managed to run from the pinkertons of blackwater and was with all cores in good shape. Out of nowhere, when I set foot in new austin, i get shot in the head unexplainably letally. Dead on sight, respawned on the other side of montana river. Kinda frustrating

The game is not 20/10 , it's bearly 6/10. The real new map is no bigger then new austin and mexico i the old game. Game is alot more empty then the first one, horse riding is a fucking drag, the stamina element is way to restricting and less fun. all the towns are the same, same people. imagine the contrast to armadillo, thives landing and blackwater in the first game. Look at strawberry, rhodes and valentine, all the same, and not worth revisiting. st denise is ok i guess, but even tho it's bigger it doesn't feel any more impressive then blackwater did in the first game. to think this game is 20/10 or a 9/10 or whatever, you need to be on something man. that's just a joke. the game is avrage, it's ok, it's a bit of a drag and way to long, it has improved the graphics from the first game, but everything else falls short to the first one. it's the same 'watch a story, click a random button' gameplay rockstar is known for. nothing new at all
Considering they already have half of the original map done, maybe we could expect a story DLC that is basically a retelling of RDR1? I mean, RDR1 never got to PC so I would be pretty stoked to see something like this.
Rockstar really outdid themselves, congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this game. In this game the awesome graphics make sense, because the gameplay, world and lore feel just as believable.
@@jasoncampos2933 Some missions with the camp and other things you can do can only be done depending of the location of the camp or what time of the story you are on. So you would be losing all that fun with gang members who can help you. SPOILERS of chapter 2-3, in chapter 2 you can go hunting with Charles and you will have a buffalo skin you can sell, also in chapter 3 you can go rob a house with the Irish guy and that will get you money. In chapter 3 you can also go fishing with Javier and he will give you some tips about fishing. I know this isn't that important but details like that makes you enjoy the game, and there is so much too. I have 50+ hours and I'm still in chapter 3. The point here is enjoy the game the most instead of just doing story missions.
Wow you Really can see like the Vegetation had changes so rdr2 has many many plants and much more grass and in rdr1 there much less there are more sand and died bushes and so
That's because New Austin is based on the old west, so yea dust, bushes and a lot of wind. And the RDR2 map is based more on the North/East, so more tree's, plants, snow..

Was hoping the main missions with Arthur would go here left john in the prison a bit longer haha so no story plot holes. instead of going to gwarma they would hide out in new Austin with Bill taking a fancy to fort mercer ,and because it is dryer would have meant Arthur tuberculosis would have abated a little for him to carry on fighting.

The story is too long (doing the same robbery too many times) there are too few sidequest. If story is 7, side quest is 3. I would rater have story be 4 and side quest 6.

Nada mas hay que mirar en Armadillo, es una ciudad fantasma. La verdad es que en parte le encuentro el sentido ya que es un desierto y el tema de la cólera y demas, pero se nota bastante vacio y como que lo han puesto para rellenar. Pero estoy de acuerdo contigo poner la mayor parte del mapa del 1 tiene su merito, pero es eso, podrían haberlo desarrollado mas.

I really hope RDR1 is remade on this engine. They have half the map done already. Some little changes to it + Mexico and it's done. They'd just have to redo missions and add some random events, bounties and side activities. Most game mechanics are already in place though. Since RDR1 never got ported to PC I could see this remake happening. I really hope it is the case.

Es básicamente por razones historicas y a mi la verdad me gusta el ambiente que tiene aunque si que tendrían que haber misiones dentro del pueblo pero bueno es una pena. De todas formas el online traerá mas cosas a la parte del oeste tanto misiones como propiedades y demas y no se vera tan vacío y ademas me da la sensación de que armadillo es donde ira toda la gente a matarse a tiros y tiene que estar brutal eso con el ambiente que tiene del oeste.

i know this is preposterous but imagine if Rockstar made story dlc for RDR2 only it turns out to be RDR1 spliced into RDR2 all the dialogue lifted and the cutscenes redone but running in RDR2's engine the whole RDR1 game including mexico but with a lot of the newer RDR2 game play features as well such as hair & facial hair growth more detailed custom clothing better horse physics crafting and custom weapons....again preposterous i know but if that's what it would take to get RDR1 on PC i'll take it.

I don't understand why we need Mexico in RDR2, it's unneeded and is pointless. The gang isn't even supposed to go there. People seem to forget that we get SUCH a bigger map than both New Mexico and New Austin combined, however I understand why they're upset. But as I said, it's pointless for the story. The developers must have realised this half way through probably, that's why the map was kinda detailed I guess.

It’s literally just like RDR1 where if you rushed through the game and started playing as Jack at the end, you’d never experience all of John’s missions and such. Same deal with Arthur and then playing as John.
Rockstar themselves calls it a Maxim gun, but the characters are outlaws. A gatling gun is probably all they know so they just call it that. Plus it sounds better.

Lo que no me gustó del juego fue el mapa esperaba que en ese extenso mapa los poblados fueran más grandes y que ubieran nuevos poblados claro pero tal parece que es el mismo mapa del 1 a excepción de una que otra casa y lugar pero siguen siendo pequeños

It’s literally just like RDR1 where if you rushed through the game and started playing as Jack at the end, you’d never experience all of John’s missions and such. Same deal with Arthur and then playing as John.

My biggest problem with this game it's nothing really bad it's just kind of annoying they keep on calling a maxim machine gun a Gatling gun.

Rockstar themselves calls it a Maxim gun, but the characters are outlaws. A gatling gun is probably all they know so they just call it that. Plus it sounds better.
