We used to stand at antique and collector's fairs. I now have a spreadsheet which compares the stall fees and ebay fees to give a notional sales figure. The sales figure using ebay is 25% higher than we had ever sold at the fairs. This is not taking into account petrol for three trips there and back (set up day before), 2 days standing and food for 2 people and having to pack and re-pack a couple of hundred items. Ebay is a lot less effort so I'm happy with that.
£72 is daylight robbery simple as that I’ve just started selling my watch collection and the fees I’m playing on them is just crazy £300 watch £ 47 with promo fee!!! And have you noticed every thing you sell that’s expensive always sells through promotional listing !!!

Ebay like to charge premium fees, whilst treating their sellers like trash.
