The correct answer for the question is Option 'b' - 2 only, as statements 1 and 3 are incorrect.

Is president's assent needed for removal of vice president, after the lok sabha has agreed on to it?

Yes. President is the final authority to remove vice-president after the president is addressed by both houses .
