In Taiwan, VW offers 2.0liter 190hp model with R-Line package. 0-100 in just 6.8 sec, and it’s really fun to drive. However 2liter model seems pretty rare in Europe market.
They gave it very short gears to cover up the lack of Power...its better to choose the 1.5TSI, not a huge price difference but a smoother engine with longer gears and nearly the same consumption that offers power reserves when you need it
In South Africa we only get this in 1.4 SDsg and 2.0 TSI DSG spec. I've never seen it in Manual with 6 Gears !!!! The other shock is the 1.0 engine.. the Gear Ratios must be short does it feel under powered?
Those who watch this channel and have any knowledge of the Indian VWs( or any Indian seeing this channel) is this the same engine which we get in the Virtus and the Slavia, but a detuned one which produces 178Nm instead of the 200Nm torque?
100% agree with you here...in South Africa we get the 1.4 TSI and the 2.0 TSi....can't and refuse to believe they gave this T-Roc the same Engine as the Polo !!!..
No surprise...VW engines nealry always outperform competitors with similar power levels but still manage to consume the same or less...for example TRoc 1.5TSI vs Kia XCeed 1.5 TGDI or Octavia vs Ford Focus

I don't like long years, only a long 6th is preferable. Long gears make an engine feel sluggish and makes you want more and more power to compensate
@@cbats1888 Not all gears must be that long but a long 6th/7th/8th/9th as an "overdrive" for 130-160kph is very useful
Agreed!
Really the best Video !
Thanks for sharing! ❤

Good car but betterr with 1.5 TSI, specially if we drive with all passengers and luggage. Good test!

pretty short gear ratios in nowadays...
0-100 in 9,4s??? WTF??
What is the problem in this case?
