I am so excited to start season 5 of The Infected!! Day 2 we moved to a better base spot, but we will still get a cave build done this season! If you want to check out another great content creator for survival games check out our friend M80 Gaming! www.youtube.com/@m80gaming01
I've built in that spot before on one of my games and it's well protected on all sides except for the entrance. But that can be remedied quite easily with a gate and fencing. I do remember a few vambies falling down the cliff edge before, though. Speaking of which, it's something you also have to be a bit careful of when you go exploring around that position. I always find making 5 stone furnaces is worth the investment as you can potentially make 2 ingots worth in one go when firing the stones to make iron fragments. It's a lot of stone, but it's worth it in the long run. The anvil and the butcher's table, (assuming you get one technology sheet), are made in no time at all, then. The brick furnaces are probably the next technology to choose, as that really ramps up the iron production. You need the butcher's table pretty early on, as you need the hides from the kills to make the quiver to store arrows that are needed to use the bow. The kills you make, early on, have to be done using the spear. If you're able to find bone shards when looting, the durability of your spear increases a little.
There is a FREE ALUMINUM FLASK along with some coins on a white round table in a courtyard at the POI with the road that wraps around it. You can only get to it by going through a certain building.
A tip to make it easier to build your base without wasting time building and destroying: start with the highest base level from the inside out, because where you placed the ramp is below at the level where you are starting the base in the center, between the walls. So that everything is level, start from the center towards the "exit", which is where you created the ramp.😊
I believe the YTuber you are speaking of is Ambient King. He has a very large and tall build. Check him out if your like. I see your point if you were planning on building atop the cave. I was thinking of an in-cave build only as the room in there is massive. Trees will be the issue in both the cave and where you are building. I think the cave build would be hugely defensible. Where you have chosen has good pinch-points as well. Disappointed a bit - but still very excited to watch your series! Thank you again!
I will still be doing the cave build! YES Ambient King! Thanks I follow him but have not seen anything in a while! I will move back to the cave when I get some lighting and stuff I can really deck out the cave! I want a well lit area!
If you look along the northeast coast there's a similar formation with a more narrow entrance that opens into a large area with grass so it may spawn fruits. It's more remote so harder to get to and slower to progress, but easier to survive if you play perma death.
Great video!! I really want to play it but unfortunately it is not in my language (Latin Spanish) and it has many technical words in English. I just hope they add that option soon... there's so much to do in this game. Virtual hug from Patagonia Argentina.
Hello over in Argentina!! That is awesome, I hope that they add the language support, if you check out their discord they have a suggestion area and I think they would be open to that since so many people speak that language! "¡Que tengas un gran día!"

just what I was looking for haven't played in almost 2 years ( PC Rebuild ) this just made my day.
Thank you!! It is a great game!
You CAN NOT use your BOW until you make the Butcher Table so you can butcher animals for 2 hides to make your QUIVER to hold your Arrows.
Thanks I just got the butcher table on day 3 or 4 and could not remember why I needed Hide!! Thanks!

Thanks 4 is great but I will definitely add a 5th or 6th for a bit thanks!!

Ohh I will have to look for that one!! Thank you!
You can put bark chips and fiber in the forges now, you can also click on the picture in the book and if you have every thing it will craft the item
Oh I knew about the Bark Chips but the Fiber is huge!! Always end up with so much of that!
$5 at the Trader under INFO will get you the location of the AVT TRAILER. The trailer will need 3 IRON / 3 MECHANICAL PARTS / 20 SCREWS to repair.
Oh the Mech parts will take a bit since they are loot only now!

Oh that is great idea and will help a ton!! Thanks!!

I was disappointed in the choice to leave the cave as well.
@@humorinpolitics56 Don't worry I will build there as soon as I can make a ton of lights!!!
Use STORAGE BOXES to carry rocks or heavy items around. Just fill the box and press N to carry it.
Thanks Got a couple of those and a couple stone crates now!
It was the foolishgirl that built here. Her base was amazing.
She has absolutely epic builds! And she is one of the nicest people ever!

That is great I will mark it!!
Much better location.. I'm curious to see you figure it out all over.. Stating out fresh is the grind, but you're in good shape..
I feel super lost, I have been watching you and TFG play but you are both pretty far in and the early game has changed a lot since I played!
Nossa fazia tempo que eu não assistia algo relacionado a este game que fico feliz que não foi esquecido❤.
It is a really great game! You should try out some other survival games!
Big Green Bushes gets you sticks and fiber. Brown Logs on ground gets you 8 Firewood.
Great tip thanks Spoc Talk for all the great tips!
BTW, the dead logs on the ground are now harvestable for firewood!
Nice! Using that today for all of the Smelting! Thanks!

You'll need to make a SHIELD 🛡 to fight the Vambies.
Agree, fighting without them is rough!
Work branches and such can be placed on the ground.
Nice!! Thanks for great tip!
Make 3 Stone Spears go to POI find Bone Shards or Large Bones to make Shards and then make BONE SPEARS.
Thanks will look for some Bone shards, about to record going to the little town now!
BONE SPEARS can be made on the fly without a Workbench.
Thank you!! I thought I had to have workbench first!
You'll need a GREENHOUSE, COAL HEATER, and WARM CLOTHES to survive winter. ❄️
So much to do! I should have chosen longer seasons!
Sell everything you have to get $450 and buy LUCKY RAIDER. This will enhance your looting 10 fold and really accelerate your game.
Got it will have to work on the ATV cart and head that way soon!!
Will the infected get stuck on the spikes with them being that way i thought you would have to put them the other way
They work either direction, but if you put it backwards you can run over it!
@@TBFGaming thats good
