I was there it was a great time! Until the rain started at 2:00 am in the dark! There were some serious hard core riders there! I would not have had fun on that beast but hats off to you!!
I had an Alta electric bike and smoked them on the hole shot, then let them crazy riders pass me so I could keep my own pace, we had a lot of fun with 4 man 40+ crew.
we have some good set up T7. my mate runs 48mm ohlins and tfx rear ohlins rear is 25mm longer than stock. front is 30mm longer. that makes it about one half inches more ground clearance makes a big difference in ruts. run lithium battery race exhausts 2.5 rear rim with tubliss with the rim lock. excel rims all round with heavey dutey spokes. if you want to make it lighter take abs pump off . we use sw motech lower crash bars dont use the top ones just bottom ones thats enough to protect bike. seen people go to one disc and caliper as well. these bikes are hard work to ride on enduro tracks when you pick them up a few times it tiers you out. if you can not crash its still hard work, every body thinks these bike are easy to ride but they take twise as much effort as a enduro bike to ride. but we have more fun on a T7 . LOOK UP BONO PARTS HE DOES POL TARRES KYB FORK AND SHOCK KITS. have fun.
18 hrs short? There is a difference I grew up riding in woods with slate and shale it definitely different, when I took my friends up riding from Long island/ Jersey they couldn't handle it! Sand guys hated it!! You definitely need a lighter smaller bike, where do you get the rules and regulations for this race ?? Good luck next year!!

Awesome time. Rain was not fun thats for sure. Good for you guys on an E Bike. sure that was a learning curve
