I love the "I have no idea why pots and pans are spewing out of my cupboards that's just real life for ya" It made me giggle, also shows you are showing your real side. Love your videos Becky!
My favorite line from this video: “no soggy bottoms around here”😂 love your vids Becky!❤️
Yep! I second that. Becky is so charming I can't tell if she does that on purpose or if she's just that delightful naturally.
🤣🤣🤣
@@phyllisstein1837 it is so her natural self - its just so lovely and refreshing and she is a joy to have around!!
não não não Manuela sim sim st you.
I don’t garden, can, meal prep, dehydrate, or cook nearly as much as you do… but I LOVE having your videos on. Like having a friend over ❤️
Just thought the same
I love that Becky takes breaks when she needs to. She has been filming so much content for us and editing that must be lots of work. I don't want our new favorite youtuber to get burnt out!! 💗💖💜
Aw Thank you!
Amen!
Becky you get as much rest whenever you need.
We LOVE watching you. We'll wait.🥰👍
We have 2 cabinets in our kitchen. Literally 2. Naturally they were a disaster. I used you for inspiration and tackled them the other day. Packed two boxes up for storage, a box for donation, and a lot went in the recycling bin. THANK YOU!
I love it…”he’s a grown man, he can do what he wants”. Lol, so cute. You seem to have such a respectful relationship. Great video. I’m copying you dressing for cole slaw this week. Looks yummy!
🤣 That was my favorite too. She cracks me up.
Am i the only one who's like REALLY enjoying these weekly videos? I actually look forward to them now they're so much fun, kinda wish they'd keep going even when the pantry challenge is over
Show you feeding the chicken the scraps. I love how they run to eat.
Our chickens a.k.a. "the ladies" enjoy their raisins and sunflower seed mixture. However, they were using a bit of "fowl" language out there! 🐔🐔🐔😊😂
I love to feed ours scraps. So fun to watch!
@@mercy2angl lol cute ;)
Yes good idea to show the feeding scraps to chicken! I’d like to watch! I wish I could have chickens here where I live.
I peel my ginger and freeze it. When I want fresh ginger I pull it out of the freezer and use a microplaner to grate it while frozen. Put back when your done. And I always have fresh! ❤
I peel then mince it and then freeze it flat and that way i can easilt break of like tsp etc amounts and i dont need to dirty any utensils etc.
How long does your ginger typically store when frozen?
@@brittanyschuerman2113 I've gone up to 6 months and it's fine
Josh is a lucky man to have a wife who can cook like that 😀
You area powerhouse of a cook! I'd be exhausted....Love all the recipes you share and the "bloopers" that come along-keeping it real. I want to try the rolls and the pop-tarts.
Dear Becky…over many years, I have discovered that an ice cream scoop is an AMAZING way to scoop out squash seeds 😊
"pots and pans spewing out of my cupboard" 😆Thanks for the laugh!
I love that you always keep it real everyday life. So many channels try to present a channel of perfection.
“That is just real life.” Amen sister! Everything looks SO good! Thank you!!
Becky, I always love your expressions! From that hugging the pumpkin to the approval of your taste tests. You are so cute!
"friends, do yourself a favor and try these" "no soggy bottoms around here" Becky, I absolutely love watching your videos... You make it feel like you are talking to us, like you are not just here to make videos like some RUclipsrs. You are REAL and I appreciate that. I have learned so much from you... I'm in Florida so even though our low tomorrow is 24°F I am getting out to get working on the garden tomorrow. I got a load of compost delivered today and I am using plastic double walled culvert pipes I cut down for my "container" garden... I can't wait to grow along with you and so many others! I am in desperate need of some dirt therapy!!!
I also am waiting for compost/manure/topsoil dirt to be delivered but nights still to cold to start growing March is our start time 🥴
@@danielleterry180 yes ma'am, still too cold of nights. Just gonna get everything prepped and ready. :)
I use a used canning lid to scrap out pumpkins and squash. It works great and pretty quickly too.
It works so well. Best way to do it!
I have an old fashioned metal ice cream spade, it's the best squash cleaner ever!
An ice cream scoop with a sharp edge (not all have sharp edges) is a great tool to clean out big squash. And your hair is just beautiful!
Ah!! I was the one who suggested pop tarts on insta, I’m so excited you tried to make them from scratch! Thanks Becky!
I suggested them here too. I thought someone else might've suggested them as well.
I suggested them too! 😁
@@kathrynwitte3398 She did them in her home kitchen as well; the last thing she did before leaving BA. I'm kind of glad she left BA actually. As fun as Gormet Makes was, she often seemed stressed doing it and she's not as stressed now on her own channel.
Thanks ya'll for suggesting it. I am going to attempt to make some this morning!!!!
Thank you so much for that tip about baking the squash cut side up!
I like how she add her seasoning no measurements it's just until her inner spirit and eyes says yes it's enough 😘
Becky's chickens live the good life with all the goodies they can eat! I'll bet they are prolific egg layers! Happy cooking and baking, Debbie
What Becky said “we’re going to cover it with a damp cloth”
What I heard “we’re going to cover it with a damn cloth” in the sweetest voice😂
Omg when I was a little kid, my parents had work colleagues over for dinner and I accidentally spilled my milk, so I called out for damn paper towel not knowing the difference lol
That's OK, she said "I'm trying to decide if I should put vent holes in them" (the pop tarts)
What I heard though was "I'm trying to decide whether to put Mentos in them" 🤣Man did I do a double take on that!
I'd love to see how you store those vegetables in your fridge to allow them to last so long. Maybe in a fresh food storage video Thanks
Green beans tip: if they get too old let them dry as mature bean. What you have then is great northern beans. Shell them & store for winter. 😉
I've I've been mastering the "no knead bread after about a dozen or so that I had to discard. But no knead and turn it into pizza! that is a keeper! I would have love to see you guys cut into the pizza just to see how it looks.
If you ever get a loaf that doesn’t work out maybe you could try make it into breadcrumbs or croutons? 😁
If you're busy and time is precious, just sort and organize a few handfuls of kitchen pantry items at a time. Start gathering the spices together, the veggies, the boxed sides, etc... The more you get gathered together the more organized you will be and, the quicker doing a deep organize will be whether you do it shelf by shelf, cupboard by cupboard, or the whole kitchen. - If you end up really switching things up, put up a couple of post-it notes to label your cupboards and shelves; for the other people in the household of course.
YaSS, so excited I feel like a baby waking up and watching their fav tv show 😄
That spaghetti squash casserole looks delicious I am going to have to make that. Love your videos.
Those pop tarts looked delicious and the pizza. Yummy.
I remember as a kid ,mom would take the leftover pie crust and make little tarts from her home made jams. Yummy!!
I love the idea of the avocado dressing. I will have to remember that, I have a bag in my fridge that need to be used up. Try putting the ring to your instantpot in the freezer. It will help shrink it down until you can get a replacement ring.
I saw a recipe where someone did a breakfast bake in a sheet pant and as the base they used spaghetti squash and it looked amazing
I've been inspired to bake more because of your videos. Thank you!
There's no way I can express how much I enjoy your videos. I watch for them every day and bring them up as soon as possible. The time flies by. I said it before and I'll say it again--you are adorable!
Love watching you pantry challenge recaps.... HELPFUL HINT FOR SCRAPING SEEDS AND STRINGS OUT OF SQUASH AND PUMPKINS ..use a used canning lid flat, the sharp edge cleans up the "meat" of the squash beautifully and how you hold it in your hand makes it much easier than using a spoon... LIFE CHANGER!
I have a family of 7 with 5 kids and I wish I could do everything you do!!!! We're still getting our house functional. It's a work in progress.
There is 7 of us as well. I am finally organizing my kitchen and pantry today. I never enjoyed cooking until I started watching Becky and a few other ladies in RUclips but every time I go to cook my kitchen stresses me out lol so hoping this clean out today helps me then on to the rest of the house lol
@@valeriemichelle_proudroughneck that's awesome I send all the cleaning fairy dust your way!!!! We haven't gotten a complete kitchen since our house fire 4 years ago so we're just doing with what we have. We're on a medically retired military budget so we do what we can when we can lol. I'm close to finally getting a kitchen sink though which will be amazing as I've broken my back in 5 areas and the tub hurts when washing dishes.
Your videos are soo fun to watch and have the creative element like June on Delish. I cook in a similar manner. Loving the pantry challenge 🥰
June and Becky are most definitely my favorites!
I've never made that association but now that you mentioned.. that's so true. Love them both
I love June and Becky too!
I love hanging out with you in the kitchen Becky - you’re such an inspiration to me! ❤️
that egg rainbow tho...I love your channel! Now I know what to do with the 2 things of steel cut oaks I accidently bought :)
So validating to see you cooking frozen food from years ago 😅 relatable!!
I love how honest & real you are. You show your mistakes & learn from them, you don't try and hide them. You are you & that is rare in this world nowadays. Thank you for sharing these videos. You help me so much & i'm positive many many more. You are a rock star!!!!! Take care ❤
So fun to watch you Becky. Thanks for all the awesome recipes.
Hey Becky, enjoyed your video as usual! You have inspired me so much so thank you!
If extra oats? Freeze dry. It’s like light weight granola. Or add water instant oats.
I cook my spaghetti squash in the instant pot all the time! Cut in half, scoop out seeds, add 1 cup water, high pressure for about 20 minutes. Comes out perfect! Use it anyway you like after that. One of my favourite is to cook up a bit or garlic with melted butter, add shredded squash to warm, sprinkle with parmesan and a bit of basil or parsley. Soooo good!
😋 yum
That sounds really tasty
I'm always happy when a new video coming up, and I enjoy watching you cooking, and I can really tell that you are very passionate about what you doing, thank you Becky for sharing your recipes and your adventures in the kitchen and in the garden.
You are a kitchen wonder! I think your husband got a winner! Love your videos!
I have binge watched all ur videos and always looking forward to new ones. I just love ur energy! Thank u for ur hard work 🤍 P.S. and I’m literally a medical student from the north of Russia who dreams of starting a garden on day
Does anyone else get happy when Becky likes your comment?
Your enthusiasm for the "pop tart" has made me want to try them!
Awesome meals. Also I had the same problem with my instant pot. The seal was not seated completely. Pressing it down firmly solved the problem.
Oh Becky you are an inspiration! I love everything that you do and your absolute honesty. Keep up the good work. I am so excited to try all of your recipes. Moving to France and giving up work so I will have all the time in the world. I might even try throwing out a You Tube vid ha ha ha x
Love watching your videos, so fun and energetic. Real life , not forced , a pleasure to spend time in your kitchen with you. I'm in Ireland and canning and preserving has almost become a thing of the past here. We are a spuds (potato) nation and I'd never seen a purple potato 🍠
Until today.
Love your video's! Quick tip with the spaghetti sauce... pierce it with a fork all over then microwave for 3 to 5 min. This will make it so much easier to cut into and scrape the seeds out... trust me I know, I almost broke a knife doing it without microwaving it first.
I meant to say spaghetti squash... not sauce. Lol
You are so expressive! I love watching 👀 your expressions! If I cooked like you and tasted everything. I would be the size of a house 🏠 😩. You do a fantastic job 👏
You are the greatest ,love how you are so down to earth and even show messes or mistakes ,we are not all perfect ,but you sure give it a go ! I love all the different meals gives us such good ideas! I watch your videos twice or more they are great !! TY!!
Thanks for sharing your week!! I too need to be more intentional with my pantry and meal planning.
I wish I had half of your energy! I love your videos thank you
Omg Becky that coleslaw with the avocado dressing is my new thing! Yum
Yes I did my spice cabinet. By the time I condensed & made spice blends I through away 25 small plastic containers. I really have to seriously need to get into bulk buying (I a grabber lol
I could watch you. Prep/cook/bake all day long!!! Some days I kinda do throughout my day....
I just found your channel and I am already obsessed with it!!! You are friendly, open, fun, and inspiring!!!!! I am so happy that Jessica at ThreeRivers told us about u!!! U rock!!!! 💜💜
i've never clicked a video notification so fast in my life 😂
you've inspired me to start my own little container garden and to shop my own cabinets more :)
All of this is very impressive but those "pop-tarts" are the best thing I've ever seen. I can't think of anything better than that pizza and those pop-tarts. Thank you for sharing.
When pealing vegetables I use a piece of parchment paper to catch the peals and it makes it easy to gather them up and dump them in our compost.
I absolutely LOVE how frugal you are!!!
I've found that a pumpkin scraper also is handy for spaghetti and other squashes. I got one for 99 cents on a post-Halloween clearance and use it year round.
I use grapefruit spoons lol but they are so small. The pumpkin scraper is a great idea!!
@@meagantrout2127 One edge and the tip is zig-zag (like pinking sheers) which is ideal for the scraping task. The other edge has teeth, which is ideal for removing the cooked spaghetti squash.
Wow! You cooked some excellent things in this video! Great job Becky :)
A used canning lid is a great tool to do that scraping.
A canning lid is excellent for scraping out pumpkins and squash.
we have loved watching you ,three rivers, and country life doing this challenge..my grandson is the next gorden ramsey of england because of your show,s lol....love them, and cant wait for the garden produce coming in xxxxx
Wow all of these recipes look GREAT! I love the tip about baking the spaghetti squash cut side up. Because I HATE soggy squash.
I enjoy your pantry challenge all 3 weeks so far and I'm so excited about gnocchi! Thank you Becky
Thanks for the tip on cooking squash upside. Hadn't tried for quite awhile and this summer made it and was not appealing at all. This is probably why it was just so mushy!
A little trick to prevent mold on winter squash: when you harvest them, wipe them with a solution of warm water and tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is an natural anti fongus.
What's the ratio of ester andrea tree oil?
@@tonyanorris6574 I fill a small pail (2liters) with water and add about 10 drops of tea tree oil. Using a clean rag, I wipe down all my squashes, let them air dry and store them in a cool and dry place.
Everything looked amazing! The pop tarts looked soooooo good!! I loved when you said ‘he’s a grown man he can eat what he wants’ lol That was great!
I always learn something new from each of your videos! Thank you Becky!
That line NEEDS to be on a shirt.
"No soggy bottoms around here!"🤣
Too funny!
Becky, you made that poptart look so scrumptious. I wanted you to hold it closer to the lens so that I could take a bite.😋. It looked delicious.
I also love how confident & comfortable you are of yourself and on screen. Sunday morning, when you were in your kitchen with unbrushed hair and circles like mine around your eyes, after the ski trip, that made me appreciate you all the more. You give us great examples of "Be who you are and don't be concerned about the haters who will always find fault, no matter what!". Thanks Becky👍🥰
You truly are a light shining in the darkness. Way to go!💖👍
Best trick for spaghetti squash ever is next time Halloween rolls (or just go on amazon) around get a decent pumpkin scoop for pumpkin carving and keep it around as a squash scraper! I got mine at target and it is metal and super sturdy and it make scraping the seeds out of squash so much easier!
I just love watching your videos, I find them therapeutic! Did you know you can kep your ginger in the freezer, then take it out and grate it? I was so happy to learn this, now I always have fresh ginger!
I like the effect of the music in the intro. Also, a tip...grapefruit spoons, with serrated edges, are great for scraping seeds out of squashes and melons.
We had grapefruit spoons as a kid! They rock!
Loved the pop tart taste test!😊Yum.
I just love your vlogs! You have so much enthusiasm and knowledge about food which makes it so exciting for us to watch. One thing I'd love to see you make is Stromboli! That's my fave. Make it one day if you and your husband love it. That would be something good to carry for lunch when skiing too. God bless!!!🙌💞🙏
I am in love with your no knead bread!! I've shared that link to your website with tons of people. It has such good flavor in it so easy!
I love your enthusiasm Becky it’s very infective, I hope your channel grows and grows you deserve it , also you could really see the quality of the pork just by looking at it ❤️
My favourite part of the videos you make is when you take a bite of one of your creations.....you look up at the camera with wide eyes as you're still chewing, half smiling. You are an inspiration Becky, keep on keeping on 😉
Hi Becky! New subscriber here, I’m really happy I found you, I was searching for homemade flour and corn tortillas because the ones at the grocery store are no longer tortillas. I’m not sure what chemical combination is now the flavorless blah that now is sold as a flour tortilla. They’ve ruined so much trying to extend shelf life…so it’s time to start expanding my skills ..thank you!
You've totally inspired me to create some of my own what we eat in a week videos. I relate so much to the way you cook and can't wait till we can get on a small farm to grow our own food. Thanks so much for the inspiration Becky!
Do you have a channel?
I made the oats in the instant pot and they are delicious. I will never make them on the stove again they were so easy and it was nothing to clean the pot I never would have thought to add anything to the oats while cooking your recipe is delicious. I did have to make a substitution, I couldn't find my frozen leftover pumpkin but I had sweet potato so I used that and instead of pumpkin spices I substituted 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/8 tsp nutmeg. It sure makes you look forward to steel cut oats in the morning. thank you for this recipe and the videos you do.
I love that you are so fearless in the kitchen! Love your videos!
Everything looks so good! I love seeing the different color eggs
Nice opening, Becky. Everything looks delicious!
Another wonderful week of delicious food. Great job!!!
You amaze me at all you do. I am a new subscriber and I will be binging you all weekend. You are efficient, inspirational, and articulate. I consider it a blessing to have found your site.
Have a great weekend!!
Since I started watching you, I have been cooking more and not letting things spoil. So I would like to say thank you for for your help, recipes, encouraging words, and your happy personality. I love watching you, your always so bubbly. I made your baked oatmeal today. Oh, It was soooo… good. Thank you for sharing it.
I get so excited when I see a new video! Everything looked so delicious! Thanks for some awesome recipes! ❤️
I am so glad I found you. I have been watching all of your videos! You are awesome!! Thanks for sharing your cooking!! Love them. It is so great seeing young women cooking from scratch!
