I am 60 year old man in a wheelchair! You have crossed generations! And continents! What you're doing is pretty cool! You left me with a smile! In the gods be with you! Thank you!
Most of this is (should be) common sense but I sincerely appreciate the tips for my trip to Qatar! I can’t wait!
Going to be in Qatar for 20hr layover... love these vids. Alone with my 11 year old son. Excited!

What are the other do's and don'ts you want to add?
Is it OK for Non Qatari to go to ALHAZM? what are the rules there?
@@Lonetraveler07 Qatar doesn’t have rules for public places it’s for everybody not just for Qataris and as a Qatari we love when people all over the world come visit us
IM GOING TO QATAR THIS DECEMBER TO SEE WORLD CUP, CANT WAIT!!
Good luck with that....
Boycott Qatari World Cup
I am too
Salam Mr Q
Inshallah I can meet you one day
🔥🔥🔥
Keep it up
I got in trouble the other day at the Ambulatory Care Centre in Hamad Medical City for not having long pants. They were long shorts covering knees but still not allowed. Security were nice enough to let me in this time so I could keep my appointment. I honestly didn’t realise this applied for hospitals.
Thanks for sharing!
Personally, I find it Absolutely Insane Being Forced To Cover (virtually) your Entire Body (Especially The Women) In Black Fabric/Garments once you leave your house/living quarters, In The Type Of Climate That Qatar Has (I wonder whether Heatstroke is common in Qatar!?!)!!!
@@mariusmatei2946 It isn't always black, but staying covered in the right fabric is better than having your skin exposed to the harmful sunrays. The Islamic dress code is an extention of the cultural attire which was created to combat the heat and sun rays.
@@qurratulainhaseeb7251 being all covered up, is exactly the opposite to cooling down, as the fabrics/garments that you're wearing (Especially Of Dark Colours), Are Trapping your body heat, and, thus, causing you to Overheat; There Is A Reason That People Who Live In Temperate, Four Seasons Climates, Wear 2-3 Layers Of Clothes During Winter, And (Very) Lite Clothes During Summer!
Very funny !! 5:25. The man and woman doing a series of hand slaps, etc.
Favor: Can you review the "Industrial Area!" of Doha? I think it would be NEAT!!!
Asalamu alaikum brother
I'm in qater 1st day in qrantine in hotel still..
I'm learned information from you thank you 😊👍
...and don't walk onto a beach after 6pm.😄. While visiting Qatar's, i didn't know about this one. So I went and dipped my feet and the guards started whistling at me to warn me.🤣🤣🤣.
Im not sure, but you might be stepped in some areas where jelly fishes attack. for your safety they blow whistle.
This was a great video, thanks dude!
A place of dignity and respect.
Thank you for this! I’m going to the World Cup and would love to wear a thub!!
I love the no tipping one 😁🤭
🤭 me too
Hey my friend , been watching your videos. I’m super excited
I’ll be arriving about 8 days prior to the first game
Would be great to meet up ?
hi! i'm thinking of making an acoustic cover song video somewhere in corniche with the doha skyline at the background.. is it okay?
Yeah, these are great. I have seen people from many countries disregard etiquette/culture in Middle Eastern countries, and in other countries. Some immediately remedy when others point out the faux pas or offensive act or clothing. Others, just too arrogant. I enjoy these posts!
Please, friends of Qatar - tell those fools who refuse to follow proper etiquette & decorum- they MUST. We appreciate your modesty & manners - like, we REALLY appreciate it. ✌🏽
WOW
Hi,
Thank you for your videos!! I am learning a lot.
A bit a specific question for you:
Would it be considered rude or weird by other people visiting the place or working there if I knit at a caffe while drinking my coffee alone or with my friends.
In my country people are pretty cool about that but some of my friends from other countries are saying it is weird. What about Qatar? Thanks ))
It’s okay
hi mate, thanks for that.
When it comes to recording people.... what if I'm recording fans from around the world? Can the Qatari police tell me to delete that as well, or does it only concern when you recording the locals?
Im flying in 4 days... and still on the bench should i bring my professional gear or just a GoPro.
Please help.
Cheers
Hello Mr Q
Are there sayings in Arabic language?? As someone who is learning a language, there is that confidence I get when I say like two words and I am able to conclude with a saying.
I can summarize this whole video with one saying in my language 😄😄😄
I will wait for the video if you wish to.........
I have stopover and will visit the souq and art museum….Are there any camel rides without the dune bashing or desert safari, available… maybe an hour or less?
Congratulation to both countries for celebrating 50th anniversary
Yow bro..please educate me..n all of us on what it means when you see a muslims gate is partially opened in this month of ramadan mostly during times nearing iftar?
Qatar No. 1
You're no. 1!
What it's required in Qatar is nothing more that a gentle person should do in any other place in the world. Courtesy, respect are appreciated regardless where you are and should be standard behavior of every guest regardless where he's.
Ayy I'm your 1000th like
can u tell us where can we be clothes at reasonable rates
Qatar is a beautiful and modest country!!
Absolutely love Qatar!🇶🇦❤️
A place that we can call home❤️ I pray it never becomes westernised ever!
Brother this is my first ramadan in qatar . Please tell me are mosques offer iftar meal because i don't want to do iftar alone in hotel.
There are some iftar tents set up
If I visit Qatar... someday... Would love to meet up with you 👍...

Asap alaykom please we are planning to moove from USA to Catar ,so it is worth it ?
Can you make a video telling citizen to talk with tourist with some respect and bit of love. My mother who is elderly and a #teacher came as a tourist purpose she was clicking photo of one of the attraction & one of Arabic women come & raise her voice on my mother and she was scared.
Why go there?
I love that they keep Islamic boundaries.❤
Hah! My uncle is a wild Timothy! :D
Is it appropriate for a foreigner (and non-Muslim) to greet people in Qatar using "As-salaam 'alykum" or just "As-salaam?" I'll be traveling to Doha for business in a few weeks and will be attending several meetings with our business partners in the area. I was always under the impression that this was only a greeting between people of the Muslim faith.
You can say assalaam alaykum.
I know it’s a 7 month old comment, but just for anyone else wondering.
Remember the song "Bullet" with Mark Zonder. band Psycho Echo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you love your video 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦congratulations 🎊
Very useful videos. Are you currently in Doha. I will stay in Doha January 19, 20 and half of 22. Could you tell me how can I see very local places, desserts, Bedouin villages etc. in a budget? If you can refer me to a tour guide, I will be very grateful and will love to give you any gift from here (USA) that you like
@Mr Qtip
Whats about the world cup the Do's have been accepted example LGBTQ people visiting for the world cup.
GREAT INFO: Suggestion please slow down when you speak the English Language!! There are many people who watch this video who are not NATIVE speakers of English!! Secondly, avoid colloquial phrases; many listeners/viewers have English as their 2nd or 3 language. We would appreciate keeping these tips in mind!!

I love Qatar 🇧🇭
🇶🇦👈 this is the Qatari flag. That is the Bahraini flag 🇧🇭.
I love the Qatari attire a lot , I can wait to flaunt it🥺🤍
Salam alaikum!
boss can i ask if its allowed colored hair for a guy in qatar??
that's fine, many color their hair
looks like I'm coming to visit Qatar, or should i say, Stay in Qatar. That sounds like a good idea
Salam malaikum sallam Saddiq...
I wanna dress as a Qatari. I like their style.
You can if you want
I saw some people spitting and littering on the streets. What should we do about it?
you can report them
Salaam love your vdos- few thing about your country I recently visited. Some of the most rudest people I have met in middle east- immigration staff almost refused to acknowledge by etraaz as the date showed 10-5 -22 thats american way of saying oct fifth and she challenged saying it was may 10th😤.secondly if a caucasian person says Asslamuwalaikum_ many folks dont even answer as they think all caucasians are infedels. Finally qataris need to realize due to new global infotech wealth- many people around world is wealthy now( regardless of race and country of origin) . You are awesome- hope your country men were sensible and kool like you- qatar have lightyears to be near emirates .
Can you show and explain the differences how different ways you can wear the mens head covering?
We’ve made an episode on that already :)
I love Qatar and UAE….awesome places…very luxurious and full of moolah…nice roads, buildings, quality of life…..
Been living in saudi from 28 years this place is a effing joke…..cant even make roads properly
Sir please I need your help
So basically no street photography in Qatar?
Se qatar people does it
But I wanna take a picture of the wild Timothy
Do you do meet ups?
I haven't done one in a while since covid
Anyone here in anticipation of the World Cup? Also is it illegal to insult the government or criticize it?
You can’t even spit if you’re playing sports or jogging?
I am worried Qatar would get more and more expensive. It would be no different than North America in terms of cost of living
In short you expect tourists to be courteous and respectful when they come to visit you in Qatar? That sound very reasonable!
JUST DON'T LITTER!🤙
Mr.Q let people know that anything named international (example international dates festival) are meant for families or couples in Qatar. Bachelors are not allowed to visit those places. We Qatar residents hate bachelors and treat them as alien unless they are Western citizen or Qatari. :D
And here we find another racist
@@apatheticloser4878 dear.. It is my experience and you could not simple say im a racist.. Kindly explain here what is racism and who is a racist and how you defined me a racist.... Hope you replied to wrong guy :)
@@ashiq334 apologies if you find this too offensive but if there's a rule one must follow it regardless of being western or local. Or just treat all the bachelors same way. Good day bro
@@apatheticloser4878 hahaha dear i have same opinion.. My comment was sarcastic.
@@ashiq334 are you Qatari
Are you actually a Qatari? Cuz you have a good English accent 👍🏻
You also have a good English, Mr. Putin.
Yes he is Qatari, and his name is Khalid.
May be rise in abroad
a very rich country living at 7th Century rules.
These are actually good rules because these are rules of common sense not just taking pictures of anybody without any permission, spitting anywhere that’s literally common sense
Oh, please explain why the males wear full-length gowns of only WHITE and BEIGE PLEASE!! As a history teacher, this goes back 4000 years ago to the Egyptians!! People need to know! EVVVERY INTEREESTING (laugh in)
ruclips.net/video/sTd_73Slj3Q/видео.html
It’s not a gown it’s
Qatar’s traditional clothes for more than 1000 years
Fix the word Clealiness, it should be cleanliness
Perhaps Greg Wahl should’ve took notes 📝 from this video since he had an awful hard time respecting Qatars culture.
I would love to visit Qatar some day. But I'm still afraid of making a mistake and offend people. 😅
Don’t worry it’s not a big deal, Qatar has a lot of foreigners and we deal with them daily.
Donot worry about that.. they are the best among forgivers. They forgive a lot. It is not as you think. life is easy. the best part is dont worry about your house, kids and we dont even lock the doors while sleeping.(this is the best part i love)
@@ashiq334 Nice country. I'm loving this country honestly
What if I marry there
what about it?
Dont be gay
What if I marry a girl there
Hi sir, you say not filming in gov building is common sense, but here in the West filming in public, is our 1st Amendment. Gov officials are public officials, any gov buildings are public spaces funded by taxpayers. Our First Amendment allows freedom of press. No press badge needed.
What’s your opinion on fifa 2022 lmao
I think it’s great that more people will visit Qatar and see what the country is about for themselves :)
Gonna be a shock when thousands of pissed up english and polish fans turn up....
