The 2010 Mustang is one of my favorite. It has that Boss 402 look from the old days. I think I also like the 2010 Mustang because that was the Mustang that was out when I was a kid. So I think it's cool probably because of that.

Great video!! I'm an old retired guy and also have a 2010 GT Premium. Sterling silver, 5spd manual, minor engine and exhaust upgrades. 60,000 miles on it and in pristine condition. The original owner ordered it with 3.73 gearing and an oddity of spoiler delete. Really looks different with the spoiler delete, but I love the look.
I have one too I bought in 2013 with 13k. It now has 19k (Sept '23). Mine is a 401a package, manual, factory alarm and shaker 1000. I put lowering springs on her and the PO added a nice cat-back. These 2010 S197's are a keeper. It's a one year car, updated body with 4.6. This is the mustang to own 35-40 years from now. I have two boys that will reap that benefit.
Mustang is a dream car to millions all over the world !! Love the way my 3 valve 4.6 06 GT sounds ! No cats, H-pipe, 12” resonators, and Flowmaster Outlaws w/3.5” tips. Sounds amazing ! In my opinion the 4.6 sounds better than the more “European”V8 sounding 5.0 coyote.
Me too luv the 3 valve sound...so much meaner sounding than the coyotes with the right mods especially. My 10 gt with only 62k got...bbk shorty headers, retained factory h-pipe. Pypes s.s. high flow cats, mildly baffled cutouts (=4 exhaust exits)...bbk varitune axle backs. AND also Brenspeed detroit rockers + dyno tuned. Sounds so fantastic i get compliments everywhere i go. Very stout sounding & drives like it has a bigger engine.
Sweet man. I just bought a 2010 4.6 with 8,100 miles from Las Vegas. It's my short distance weekend driver. I prefer to use my beat up old Avalon for daily driving because if someone hits it, oh well.
These cars are great! I have had tons of fun in it! I don't have to drive mine much, because work provides a car. BUT every time I get in it, it brings a smile to my face!
I love these last of the retro 4.6’s.. Imo this model is basically the best looking mustangs ever. Then with the 4.6 version you get a fun modifiable car at a killer price point.
You don't even need mods to make it a great engine, right out of the gate you're still getting over 300hp and lots of torque too with an amazing exhaust sound just stock. Compared to the 2011-2014 5.0 the 4.6 keeps up and is only behind by half a second in the quarter mile which is very impressive.
I have an 07 V6 but I want to upgrade one day to one of these, an 05-09, or an 11-14 v6 in that order. Coyotes are out of my budget but I at least want something with 300hp. Especially in a color like that, looks sweet.
i was torn between a 05-09 gt, or 11-13 v6 since you get roughly the same power and for the same money. i got the 2012 V6 in ingot silver and it pulls, also sounds good too. im very happy with it. i put an axle back and of course it attracts infinitis and 350z cause they know its a v6 mustang. the gas and insurance are also a big decision maker. the v6 gets around 19mpg city and im getting 28-30mpg highway. by the way insurance is mostly about age and track record, my insurance told me if i got the v8 it would've been the same roughly cause they're both sporty. check the VIN cause you'd be surprised how many mustangs have branded title. i say go test drive a v6 and a v8 to see what suits you. good luck in the future! www.nicb.org/vincheck

@@chevywilliams958 Lol Ishould have mentioned it was a v6 XD, just got it last week and it's a night and day difference. Plus the quality is so much better. I had the opportunity of driving a 2013 5.0 last year though. Honestly, the 5.0 isn't really all that quicker than the 4.6, at least not the ones between 2011 and 2014. I found the ride even felt mostly the same, yes the 5.0 had a bit more pep but not as much as I though it would. You also only gain about .4 of a second quicker on 0-60 and the quarter mile. Still, both are very sick cars to say the least but...Considering the price difference just between a 2010 and 2011 (6k to 8k), never mind anything above that, I find the 2010 is better bang for the buck.

Compared to the 2v 4.6 nah the 3v is too hit n miss. I had a 05 and it never had any issues but my miles were low. Still I felt like it wasn’t gonna be solid long term

There are three buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. I believe one says SETUP. Click that, and it will cycle through your options on your gauge cluster. Then you will see the color options. One of the other buttons near SETUP will cycle the colors.
I enjoy an manual transmission, but I equally like the automatic! If I had my preference, I would've gone manual, but it's all good! Still a great car! Got some updates coming soon!

It has the stability, I haven’t compare it with clean GT to see the actual difference but anyway it’s pretty stable. And the sound... It’s with the stock pipes and the sound is I all wanted. It is incredible when it hits 3000 RPM on 2nd or 3rd gear. I don’t know is it coming mainly from the V8 or it’s more of a exhaust system but the sound of it is incredible by my opinion.

I love these cars! The 4.6L really is amazing! They have really dialed in the 4.6 over the years!

I went the more affordable, underdog route and got the 4.6L . One day I'm gonna throw some power at this thing!

It's still an awesome car to drive! Manual trans is a personal preference, which i would have enjoyed. Regardless, im happy with the purchase.

@@JakeHarrington as much as I love shifting through gears nobody owns a manual anymore which is why car companies are getting rid of them. I'll use paddle shifters in my challenger, sure its not the same as a manual transmission but it's still alot of fun
