Arrival of the Funeral Cortage of the Late Tui Macuata

Representatives and delegations from provinces around Fiji have converged in Naduri village in the province of Macuata to pay their last respect to the Late Ratu Aisea Cavunailoa Vasukinamuka Katonivere the paramount chief of the Macuata Province.
The final traditional funeral rites of the late high chief is expected to be carried out at the chiefly burial sites or sautabu at Naduri village on the 27th of April 2013.
The body of the late Tui Macuata currently lies at his chiefly residence of Bolatagane after it was conveyed to Naduri village by the vanua of Labasa and the Marama Tui Labasa, Adi Salanieta Tuilomaloma Qomate.
