@@adamburke3379 I disagree, he has made some bad decisions and got tactics wrong, but he has been hampered with injuries, poor performances, the team giving games away and having to change defence more times than his underpants. I think he did well to get us to 8th place when I look back over the season. A sacking halfway through the project will be a setback and offers no guarantees.

I don't understand people who kept saying that injuries are no excuse. Did they not bother to remember last season when we made the top 3 with half of his preferred signings? It's no coincidence that we can immediately see the play style as soon as Martinez and Varane are back. Other teams, even Man City, fell off when they also missed their key players, but fortunately for them, they had squad depth, unlike us.
Yeah, injuries are no excuse, so go blame the board and management, especially the medical and recruitment teams, instead of just the manager.

Two trophies in two seasons cannot be downplayed or ignored; achieving the FA Cup this season despite the huge injury list and other challenges we've faced, also having to beat both Liverpool and City to win it, is testament to the fact we can win under his leadership.
With all that said, and while I hate that the leak came out; United absolutely are right to have been looking at managerial options.
One of the biggest complaints, from a huge list, of life under the glazers; is that there has never been a plan. When it did come to an end under each manager, other than with LvG; there was no clue where we were going or who was the right guy to come in. So we lurched from one manager with their definite style, to a random other manager with a completely different style, who wanted and needed a completely different profile for the team. All this further adding to a poorly managed, and schizophrenic player recruitment policy.
United should stick with Ten Hag; but there should also absolutely be a plan for who is next.
I'm a united and I'm disgusted by the media, the owners and some of these players. Ten Hag done so much and won 2 trophies and 3 cup finals in 2 years and they want to sack him? Disgusting.

This is the first game I started to think he can make it there. To get THAT team out on the pitch and make every player actually turn up… Against Man City. They should NOT have won that game. But they did. And rather convincingly too, I think. City were completely lost, their players were all invicible. De Bruyne was invicible, so was Haaland, to the degree I’m not even sure he played. If you can play like that without Maguire, Shaw and your striker, and win against City, that’s quite good actually…

It’s actually incredible the thoughts Rory has on some of his points sancho wasn’t signed by ten Haag and actually ten Haag really tried with him, Casemiro and Anthony were both signed after the season had already begun and were basically panic buys and there’s always a premium when you’re man united and also the season has begun, under the badness there’s a good team there and if you were to sack him he’d probably be the best available manager also, he’s won 2 trophies and although you can’t just say injuries are the reason, he had more or less a full squad in the final and it’s arguably uniteds best performance, Rory is correct in saying he’s been treated badly and has his hands tied behind his back he still blames him for a lot of stuff without even mentioning the fact that United have had ridiculous injuries
