Man this really hits home. You're one of the few who actually knows what he's talking about and I'm really impressed with the depth and caliber of content you put out for free. I've studied trading and different strategies since you and Akil were still with Stapleton but have never been able to handle trading live money (even very small amounts) because of the psychology and fear of being wrong. Thanks to you I've been realizing that getting my foundation planned and sectioned out better will hopefully help with my confidence in live trading.

Thanks Jason for this one ! :) Great stuff, just wanted to ask about the 2nd layer of 3-6 months worth of expenses. How does it differ from the first layer? Is it capital deployed in the market that could be withdrawn anytime needed (therefore invested safely in some non-fluctuating assets?)
Basically you chose what you feel most comfortable with. There are no set rules. It’s more of the principles that are important.

But what if you have debt do you clear it before building???
Getting out of bad debt is a priority. When I say bad debt I mean non income producing debt. There is a lesson on this in Video two. Be sure to register for the rest. The link is in the description.
Having said that, don’t wait until you have paid off debt to start saving. It’s the habit that is more important.
@@JasonGraystone ok cool, I have two credit card debt that doesn't produce income, I been paying off debts for a while now and feel somewhat tired, also makes me think their company is more important than myself I know interest is a b**Ch but I have learnt the skill of trading from TE/T1 and went live in November from so I would say you do have my best interest, thanks again for all your help
